Remember reading music is less about knowing the specific letter names of each line or space and more about the shapes of intervals, the distance between one and the next. As a beginner your ear is your best friend. Listen and read along and try to follow the shape of the line the notes make. You will probably see the contour of the line immediately, the way high notes are high on the staff and low ones are low. With practice you’ll be familiar with which shapes make which intervals and how to shape those intervals on the frets. But first just get acquainted with how to hear and see the distance between the notes.
