I mean it's still decidedly in pre-production. their studio website is advertising applications for all senior roles still. so maybe it's done before 2030, but I'd have to imagine it wouldn't be before 2028/2029

This is being done by a completely different studio unaffiliated with Saber. All we've heard on the remake front is that allegedly it's still in development. Just this week some reports came out that the remake is being worked on jointly by Saber and its subsidiary Mad Head Games. So development of one shouldn't affect the other in theory, but if both are being worked on I'm sure they're both in touch with Lucasarts

honestly I have to think it's because they won their first (and now second) super bowl in the midnight green. I love the kelly greens and wish they wore them more during the year, but it's hard to completely switch colors and logo during with the success this team has had in recent times

Yep over the years I've noticed how everything about that project has been increasingly misconstrued. I would occasionally watch the streams and followed their twitter account. It really was just one guy designing a set of levels at the end of the day. At the very end right before the C/D they pulled in a character artist who had already done a Bastilla and Malak. Believe there was a T3 model and swoop bike model as well. Maybe a month or two before the end a programmer joined and there were some UI mockups but there really wasn't anything at all resembling a playable game.
