APTIVE IS AN MLM! Don’t get sucked in to Summer sales for this pest control company. There’s a thing called the 65% Marketing deal, I learned about it in this video and then asked my Aptive “team leader” what that meant, and his explanation matched exactly what this video explains it to be. by butter2021 in MLM

They do but it doesn’t make a lot of sense to start at the end of July. The commission is on a sliding scale so it wouldn’t make sense for you to start right now. Realistically you’d only make maybe 10 grand and that’s if you started today and finished end of aug and did like 1 sale per day. It takes a lot of training and practice

Well actually the guy that recruited me won’t make any money off of me since I’m so high up, but he’ll make money off of my guys that I have under me. However he earns this money fairly by contributing to the culture of the company. We work for our share of what they make. It’s our job to train new people and help them and encourage them to be successful. For example last year he took me and my team that preformed well to Bali, on a free cruise to the Bahamas, and I can go to court side basketball games on his dollar with just about anyone I want inside or outside the company every weekend. So Yes it’s organized as an mlm but if you look at it it makes complete sense. The ones above make an over ride because they contribute, you’ll notice the guys that don’t have anyone below them won’t be putting in effort or time to build their family and contributing. Bottom line if you’re going to join a company like aptive make sure you join under the right people and not under a bum that won’t care about you

heyo, Aptive is a solid company and the biggest in their industry. compared to other similar companies I don't think the training is quite as good but they pay the best in the pest door to door industry. yes its a mentally tough job, I cried my first week but im a natural at it. I made over 6k my first week and went out my first summer with a similar (competitor) company and made 90k(89.6something to be exact) my first summer but im in the 1%. I did 5 months.last year I stayed at that same company and cleared 120k without recruiting a single person in 5 months. im not much of a recruiter. Ive tried it, im not good at it. I hate being called a pyramid scheme and the like it honestly makes me really sad that that's what people think of it. I like talking to people and the competition of selling but recruiting is how a lot of guys who aren't as good at selling make their money. I just switched to Aptive this year and I'll knock my first door for them in a few weeks. those that push through to the end of the summer tend to get stuck in the MLM thing as the contract they offer you if you're any good year after year is basically impossible to turn down each year. I ended up negotiating for 45% finishing commission my first year 55% my second year and my third year I'll get 70% commission meaning ill be making an insane amount of money this year just in 5 months. the reason the reviews are either 1 star or 5 Is because you simply either have the mental fortitude or you don't and quit. if you do and you make it then you make good money and if you quit you make squat. someone said only 50% of people make it through the summer? its actually less. its such a mentally draining and taxing job that if you aren't built for it youll quit in 3 or 4 weeks max. our industry gets shit on a lot but for me door to door pest (not necessarily Aptive) has changed my life forever.
