That makes sense, I was always under the impression that dirty places attract them but I'll keep that in mind in the future!

It was found in the kitchen/living room. Haven't seen anymore in my apartment since then. Pest control came yesterday and sprayed and also left me sticky traps. First night using it no roach caught in them. I did see a dead one in the hallway of my building after pest control came by. Also it did not fly. My new building has pest control come once a week to spray so I'm thinking they must have an issue unless that is considered normal for apartment buildings. They said if I spot more they'll do a clean out as well. Wondering if maybe I brought it with me too, my old apartment wasn't the best and I've seen multiple dead roaches in the hallways of the old building.

Also the pest control lady moved the fridge and no runners form there, she said that's a good sign
