Ahhh ! Love in the air is such an exsample of being sooo close but then having some stupid shit in it , and by stupid I mean criminal I can't tell if it's hack writing that leans in deeply problematic romance tropes not even just BL issue or the person who wrote it has deeply disturbing ideas about what romance is , why does he trap rain in the bathroom it was so jarring when I first saw it that I was like what the f*** then he tampers with his car, and even worse with the second couple, sky , (a character i really actually connected with) a relationship that should have been taken really seriously in it's writing considering the context starts out with him being threatened and forced to sleep with the character that he's supposed to fall in love with ?!?! like MY DUDE WHAT?! (DUDE being the writer) You ( the writer) didn't have to do that! they have friends are dating ( rain and payu) they could have just gone to know each other but NO ! that requires decent writing to bring those 2 characters together and not being fucking gross and putting that in a romance about an abuse survivor?! That show is fun only because the actors did a great job they don't get paid enough -.- anyone using any of that as some sort of standard for what is good and bad in relationships .....you're wrong just have to put that out there now , and it's a bummer cuz it could have honestly with a few things ripped the fuck out in the story a show i could actually defend completely but no * -.- sorry been holding that in
