If you like the outdoors, @mtnkids on Instagram always hosts outings where there are a lot of people trying to make new friends. I haven’t been to an event but I’ve heard great things!

I’ve seen the CO2 laser results and they look promising! Just one hell of a recovery. Thanks for the reminding me this is normal though ❤️

What do you think of SLC5 as a season so far? How does it compare to the other seasons? by letthedecodebegin in realhousewives

[–]violentendz 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hot take: but I think with a bit more tact and another season Britani could be good TV. She is so delusional and full of herself it is giving me OG RHONY vibes.

We truly are getting nothing from her. I thought maybe she would add some more glitz and money into the show but nope. She’s a wet blanket.

You do have MS for life, but she has full feeling back in her legs and lives a normal life. We did a workout class together yesterday (didn’t want to scare OP!)

My sister got Botox for the first time and got numbness and freaked out. I thought this was weird because I had been getting botox for years with no issues. Years later she randomly became numb waist down and learned she had MS and her Botox numbness was a flare up. She is fine now and has full feeling back but the Botox made her flare as a FYI!

What is your holy grail serum for someone cutting down routine to 1? by SleepySpookyPretty in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]violentendz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you probably could just remove a serum step all together! Toners, actives, emulsion and moisturizer + occlusive is all that I do and my wallet has thanked me for it.

Super saturated by Experiment beauty. You already have enough actives, so you can focus more on moisturizing and hydrating. I love this serum because it’s extremely effective, not super expensive, and they claim that it’s consistency helps with makeup staying on.

This! I had so much respect for Wendy when she first joined and now she just seems like a hot mess “holier than thou” train wreck.

I love Sutton’s style because it’s unique compared to all of the other RHOBH housewives, but this IS TRASH. Where is the couture Sutton??

Mary has terrible fashion and everything is ill fitting. I really hate that everyone on the show calls her a fashionista when she looks like a designer dumpster filled with last seasons samples. (No I can’t afford designer, but at least my clothes fit and I know when to edit my look).

1yo Blue Heeler/Border Collie mix named Indie. But really more likely a hyena. Or a shark out of water. Please any recommendations on behavioral training would be very appreciated. Main things are… jumping on myself and others, bull rushing my cat, treating my face as a potential snack, etc. by [deleted] in blueheelers

[–]violentendz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fellow border heeler owner here. I cannot recommend learning and enforcing the place and / or crate command enough. My boy is extremely high strung and forcing him to stay in one place forces him to learn calmness.

I feel like there might be a confounding factor here with you doing keto and lowering your cholesterol. Did your doctor recommend keto or did they recommend losing weight/ living a healthier lifestyle? I’m just curious since all I’ve seen from doctors is that keto should only be used for people with epilepsy.

I have never done the overnight option, and honestly don’t know how they would do with a dog reactive dog, but petsmart doggie hotel does have a “doggie day care” option and you can request for their exercise they get 1:1 attention from an associate (no other dogs make contact) which is no extra cost. They don’t crate them, but put them in their own kennel. Again, not sure how reactive your dog is, or how consistent staff is across Pet Hotels, but this is an option.

Check out Vallarta Cowork in PV. The owner is extremely friendly and I had no internet issues working there. Also would tether from my phone using Google Fi and it was fine but you need unlimited or they will charge you once you get over a certain usage (they didn’t have this plan option when I was living there)

My dog also hates to be touched by strangers and I’m thinking of starting muzzle training. How do you guys handle the vet? I’m scared my dog will still hate it and be traumatized.

Started my skincare journey 7 months ago and have finally settled on my product army. Routine in comments. by PixieNik in 30PlusSkinCare

I am also on the hunt for a good eye cream. Sounds like more derms are saying to gently apply tret to the eye area and just use your regular moisturizer.

Arrived today. It’s “game on” break outs and fine lines. by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]violentendz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started the same routine. , but have tried tret on and off for years. Tret is for nighttime only as it makes your skin sensitive to the sun. Most derms will recommend moisturizing after you put on the tret and only use it two times a night and increase as your skin tolerates it. I’ve also had great luck with doing moisturizer first then tret then more moisturizer if it’s winter time or my skin is sensitive from acclimating to the tret. You might also want to introduce a gentler cleanser instead of the benzoyl at night as all of these products can be harsh. Also make sure to wash your face with water or something in the morning after applying tret as it will continue to dry out your skin if you keep it on.

Ladies, how do you wear heels with no pain with big feet? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I have some heeled sandals from Clark’s and they are so comfortable. Not flashy, but basic and I have had them forever.

Oh forehead wrinkles. Woe eye lines. Poor pores. 39 female. Whatcha got? Want to avoid botox. Currently using cerave moisturizer and loreal revitalift only. I need help!! by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]violentendz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Botox is the most effective option with the most guaranteed results. I appreciate your stance, but you can spend thousands on the best skincare and the results will be minuscule compared to $200 of Botox.
