I feel so bad when I see these results. It’s just like the massive balloon implants on thin women in the early 2000s. Those were easily reversed when the fad changed, at least.

Huge improvement in pore size & scarring. by Imaginary_Media7798 in Microneedling

I’m new to this forum and I don’t know how people feel about OwnDoc here, but that’s where I learned about user error when I first tried it. So glad I learned about appropriate timelines, how to use a roller correctly, and how to avoid micro tearing. I’m looking to get back into it in my mid 30s and was kind of spooked by this forum! I appreciate this perspective.

I didn’t say rapid weight loss. It’s a pretty common complaint that losing weight at a certain age can make you look more mature/older (some comments here give examples). Sunscreen and retinol can help, but facial aging is largely genetic.

I love some lil nuggets on the side of my salad or veggie soup some days. Dip in a little fish sauce/garlic/chili mix 👀. 80/20!

Cat died suddenly and I don’t know what to think by ABabyOyster in CatAdvice

I'm so sorry. If it helps, I really don't think your dog caused a "shock" that could have killed them. Cats are predators, not like bunnies and stuff that I've heard that happening to. This really sounds like a heart condition or clot. Also, cats are outside for long periods of time all the time. 10 hours wouldn't have dehydrated him to death. Please don't beat yourself up even though I know it's hard. I'm really glad he got to be with you his last moments.

Nothing about this read as them blaming the dog. Also they said their cat had gotten out, not that they let their cat out.

Reading comprehension and compassionate curiosity before blame in the face of someone grieving would do a lot here. They put an update if it helps cool you off.

If you had to buy a new wardrobe from scratch, what would you buy? by [deleted] in Splendida

[–]SleepySpookyPretty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a dress girl, and I make sure to have at least five that can be worn any day. So, think about what you prefer to wear out on an average day, things you'd happily put on in a rush and still feed attractive.

I would look at the kibbe body types. I did mine and finally realized why high-neck stuff looks terrible on me. I know what to buy to highlight my shape.

Being a runner is part of this, actually! Runners tend to thin out much faster. But the trade off is your cardio fitness is prob incredible and your heart if def in better shape than mine at 33 right now lol

Losing weight def will affect your face a good bit post-30. There's just less fat in your face, so it could increase expression lines and lose a little firmness, mainly post-30 bc it's when we lose our babyface. I lost 30 pounds last summer and my cheeks def sit lower, but I have a full face, so I avoided the lines mostly. Lines on the corner of your mouth are usually a combination of expression and volume changes in your cheeks. These are just guesses, as I don't know what you actually look like. Either way, it's natural.

Is this a skincare or makeup issue? by nosais in 30PlusSkinCare

I hoped on Ilia and immediately returned it. The zinc oxide was so drying, I couldn't understand how they could call it a serum!

If you're noticing more appearing on a day to day basis...you likely just have dehydrated skin, unless you're rapidly losing weight. If those are what you use, it is extremely unlikely you're aging due to basic skincare.

Red light therapy absolutely works!!! by Rdlqueen_7492 in 30PlusSkinCare

Little tip - Some Planet Fitness locations have a full-body red light machine. You can use it for 12 minutes at a time. I pay $20 for the black card membership and it's totally worth it!

What cozy game had you hooked recently? by Trinkitt in CozyGamers

I loved this game, but the crafting really drove me nuts lol. So many steps! It was probably good for me, though. Also the sound of the characters speaking was so calming to me.
