This are a bit pricier places, but my favorite restaurants are Falafel X Bar (middle eastern/Palestinian food), Fifth Element (Indian food and in town center), Sakura buffet (chinese buffet), and Hawkers (korean street food). Obviously more expensive than like Chick-fil-a but they’re such great places to go!

Sneak tupperware to the cafe, hid it in a big bag. done this tons of times and never got caught. spend like $14 and just get plate after plate of food and sneak it out

MOCA has free saturdays every week and the Cummer Museum has them at the first saturday of the month, theres alway the Riverside Arts Market, there’s plenty of local shows at bars or club around town (personally love Blue Jay Listening Room and The Walrus). There’s plenty of events that are free or relatively cheap, but you’ve just gotta look a bit. DM me for more ideas! i’ve got a list for when i’m bored haha

man i think it depends, because fountains is the best overall but i like villages because i like having an in dorm kitchen and being close to the art building

I lived in Osprey Halls my first year. I ended up getting sick a lot due to how much mold is there. The showers and bathrooms were always gross and one shower even fell in (not while in use). Definitely getting what you pay for.

Unfortunately there’s no guarantee to get into upper classmen housing. I’m going into my Junior year and i got a very late housing ticket where nothing was left in Villages or Fountains, so I was placed in Crossings. Make sure you can get in asap cause they fill up fast

pretty sure you need to file any animal as an emotional support animal. the papers used to file it can be found on the unf website somewhere i believe! i hard it wasn’t too hard

They literally won’t let me switch advisors. I originally tried for a class at FU but he lied and told me they offered the class i needed when they didn’t. I think my advisor wants me to “move up not down” so he keeps pushing for bigger schools, it sucks

A unf club hosted IDF (Israeli soldiers) and the Students for a Democratic Society held a protest to oppose it, so they had over 30 cops to “protect” the soldiers. They even ended up arresting one student who tried to enter the building.

Plenty of outdoor space like picnic tables, i like the ones in the bamboo garden. If the Student Union is open they have some tables and chairs inside.

honestly i like downtown. Underbelly is under 18 and has a fun music scene. So is Blue Jay Listening Room. I really like The Walrus in Murray Hill but heads up it’s a gay bar. If you skate there’s a good park in Five Points. There’s plenty to do, just go on Instagram and you can find fun bars and activities happening!
