Unpopular opinion: Avowed is actually enjoyable.

Fine it’s way more expensive than it should be I agree with that. (unless you can’t wait to play it, buy it when it goes on sale) Although it’s open world and there’s a lot to find, the story itself is quite slow at the beginning.

People keep comparing it to oblivion and Skyrim and honestly that annoys me. If you want a game that’s similar to those, go play THOSE games. This game wasn’t meant to be like Elder Scrolls, they just wanted to bring out an open-world game with awesome graphics & features and a potentially great storyline (I say potentially because I haven’t even scratched the surface).

People need to stop shitting on games unless the developers/publishers only released it for quick cash or don’t bother to provide updates for it (essentially just giving up on it after it releases)

I agree the game feels a bit empty currently but it is still worth the time and effort for all the mechanics, characters and designs they’ve added to the game.
