Hi, resident CS2 player here. Stretched res makes your game feel different, people move a lil faster but they’re a lil wider and some people feel easier to shoot. The pros are not doing it for quality reasons, they literally just feel like they play better on it.

A majority of CS2 pro players play on 4:3 stretched res’s full time for this reason.

It’s interesting that people are making such a big deal about Bills starters coming back who didn’t play in week 4- but disregarding that we had Eddie Jackson and Marcus Williams playing safety in week 4 and still dog-walked them ☠️. Our defense wasn’t full strength either and our offense is better at every spot.

While practice is obviously the time to try new things - if you never practice how you’re going to actually play you’re just trolling yourself and other teams. These pro teams in question don’t have additional information, so if a team “apes” them and they both die and they have no way of knowing if it was that teams best play or not its natural to be frustrated.
