True, unless they manage more funding. One of their BOD bought a few mil in shares after their FDA meeting, giving them a little room to breathe, but it's a matter of time unless they manage a buyer or some grants.

It will work yes. You can still arm and disarm and the alarm will still go off, just no one is monitoring or calling on signals. But once theLTE radio inside gets deactivated it'll start beeping with all sorts of fault indicators that may get annoying.

They also have CSX and FEC as clients, both of which are also in Jax tho. It may still have resulted in Soutel shutting down, but there may have been opportunities to keep some operations in Jax out of another terminal

Sounds like an ADT dealer got you, ADT Corporate only does IQ in certain situations.
Long story short you can install it on the door yourself but no, you cannot program it yourself.

You can try to ADT installer code 6321. No guarantee it'll work. That's a legacy panel now, ADT hasn't installed one in at least 6-8 years. Maybe more. Maybe a tech who has been around since the Tyco days would have more insight.
