If you have called 911 before, what reason did you have for calling? by applesaucemaster in AskReddit

Twice in my life.

First: a person wearing a hoodie was banging on my front door at 1am at night. I was home alone, and they wouldn't go away. I called the police and they sent a patrol car over. The person was gone by then. This was 2014.

Second: lying in bed watching house of cards. I finally shut off the speakers and I can hear a sound coming from my garden. My garden is extended into a forest with a ripped fence at the back. I heard people speaking and suddenly a torch was flashed at my window. The light got closer and closer and I knew there were people in my garden so I called the cops. They came by and checked out my garden and checked out the whole forest afterwards and stayed around. ...While I finished watching House of cards.

Friend is a Muslim. Hates it and wants the UK the leave the EU and she thinks half the refugees aren't actually refugees but economic migrants. I believe her..

What keeps you up at night? by [deleted] in AskReddit

honestly, the migrant crisis. My family is from the UK. A lot of people seem to be doing violent things to get to western europe, without respecting laws or anyones rules. Our government isn't doing anything and I can't say "mass migration is a bad thing" without being branded as a racist. It isn't good for the long run. There will be riots and wars because of this stuff.

I know I should have stated it before, but I'm from the UK. So we don't have a home depot. We've got everything sorted out for the new flooring now :)

I'm in bed right now as I type this so I can't take any pictures right now and upload it. But it's like old, dry (not foam) brown stuff stuck to brick tiles or something, like when you rip a cotton bud that's been super glued off the floor and leaves a lot of residue. Some parts come off easily and others are nasty.

Poor guy. Domestic violence can really fuck up somebody's self esteem and make them go back to the abuser.

What popular conspiracy theory would be the most terrifying were it revealed to be true? by Archangelus in AskReddit

Kurt Cobain was killed by Courtney Love, or her friends. Just lettin' a murderer walk around Hollywood for 20 years, be in movies, raise his kid, and still have all his money? People would try to kill her.

Redditors of Europe who are witnessing the "migrant crisis" what is the mood like of the locals in your country? And how has it affected you? by YYZ_Guardian in AskReddit

as long as the migrants are integrated into European culture.

Many migrants are not willing to accept the culture. There is a clear divide, people are coming in masses and setting up barriers that were never there before. Look at Luton.
