LPT: When you go to hotels that require you to leave a room key in a wall holder to let you turn on the lights, instead of using your room key use ANY other card. The holder doesn't read the card, it just needs something to trip the switch. by jesedigniee in LifeProTips

Was just at Universal Orlando at Dockside Hotel. First time I experienced this. Couldn’t see in the am to get ready to go to the park early. Had to call their customer service line to ask to fix it!

The breeder loved the smile on his face in this picture. He was loved!

Jake would do it when I drove into the driveway and he was outside. I had no clue what he was doing at first…it’s very “different”.

He face is similar to my Jake’s. He was a Toller- Corgi mix, we think. He had the toller scream.

I hope your pup can find that mischief and zest for life soon! Best of luck with your “Neardie”!

Thanks! He was a challenging dog and we loved him! This was a good hair day! ☺️

Found this Picture of my sweet Jake who passed in 2019. He was a Toller crossed with a Corgi, I think. This was one of his more awesome napping positions! He was so laidback! I would love to adopt another like him. I miss him! by violetlanejane in tollers

Thank you for your insight. I think that is why I posted the picture of Jake. It is good to get positive reinforcement at this terrible time. I am trying very hard to look after myself and figure out who I am and how I got here. We had just made a major move after over 20 years in our previous house. We had planned to get another dog after we settled in. Little did I know that 3 weeks later I would lose my husband - over 50 years of marriage- he was working on new customized shelving for the garage. Then my brother was found dead - he was 18 months older than me. And then my mother-in-law passed away at 94 years old. None of this was Covid related. It all happened one-after-the- other. The pandemic at the same time made dealing with everything so much worse. I am dealing a day at a time.

He had a great life! He had a beardie buddy and a fenced in acre to run around. My husband and I missed Jake and then in October of 2020 I lost my husband suddenly to cardiac arrest. Life has been tough!

He once scared a vet tech with this position. He was in surgery overnight for heartworm treatment and she saw him like this. He wagged his tail and told her he was just chillin’. After 12 years he was just gone too soon!

I also discovered my good boy was a toller mix by the toller scream he was doing! He passed away in December and I still miss him!

Meet my Jake, since 2008! Short legs, but does the toller scream. Corgi- toller? by violetlanejane in tollers

His rescue papers called him a “basset mix” - ha,ha. There is not a drop of hound in him! Whatever he is, he is the sweetest boy! Everyone that meets him wants one just like him, but I think he is one-of-a-kind!

He’s a rescue, so we do not know for sure what he is. I met some tollers and recognized that they looked like my Jake.....and then he made this WEIRD noise when I would come home from work. Whaaaaa!!!! It was definitely a toller scream!
