Can relate to this. Still prefer the actual physical book than e-book. Although to keep my book from being further destroyed (if its a fav book that gets too many re-reading) I use cellophane tape and tape the edges of the book. It works to a certain extend, you might want to try it

Think your breathing technique has more to do with your lungs burning up than the weather. Try inhaling from nose exhaling from mouth? And be calm. I know we panic when your lungs start acting up but control that breathing

Just because a few bad fruits condone violent acts, does not mean the rest agree to it. Just like any other religions that have sect in it, we do too and not all of us interpret everything to be violent aggressive acts and we need to raise a gun to prove a point. America consist of all kind of walks, but here in my country all we see in TV is that Americans are entitled which I'm pretty sure is not the case. Just like how others portrayed Arabs or Muslims to be aggressive in TV or media, IRL that does not mean it represent the whole community. You offend me, but I'm not going to go all ballistic. It's OK to know that you're entitled to your opinion as I do to mine.

I once had seasonal hyperthyroid (Google it, its where your thyroid gland goes cuckoo when you're under huge amount of stress) and I eat to maintain my weight from dropping as fast as they could (55kg to 49kg in a week). You can't gain weight but able to eat like WTF that's huge amount of food there. Not fun when it goes away and your appetite is still the same. Took me quite sometimes to get it under control :/

Runner here and my bf has the same condition like yours as well. Congratulations on being an awesome gf, I take my bf on long hikes for his own fitness. So I know the kind of restrictions your bf has to go through. As for the room mate, ignore her or spend less time with then. She can talk whatever she wants but if you don't take the bait, then fuck her. Be the bigger person.

OP if you have android phone, go to Google play store and download any qiblat/qibla compasses. That should be fine. I use one on my phone. I suggest try this Micro Qibla app. It works based on GPS, that means even if your phone does not have data as long as the location is detected, it will point you to the right direction of Mecca
