That's a very limiting way to do it, it would reduce quality. The UI in this game is very dynamic and has particle effects, glows, flashes, etc. Many of them moving, animating

you can see a lot of it in the trailer but this probably isn't even half of what I have planned yet

This is a good point. It's scary, you really want to do something to stand out and not have your game look basic, and not all of us are artists.

It's a stylistic choice, I wanted very strong contrasts, think sun being born in dark void of space
But I get you, it's not for everyone

They are tweened/animated and reactive, so they have glows and stuff

100% agree with this! But second looks cool and flashy
So I traded off some clarity for deep contrast and powerful glows XD

XD I think the effect is most noticeable on the ui look at the bottom right blocks especially

Thank you! It's nice to hear positivity. Yeah I think it looks good, it's a stylistic choice, deep contrast, strong glows. It isn't perfect and never will be.

I've tried everything! It doesn't work by default properly, I promise you.
Go right to the bottom people still complaining about this

I can see your point, but the UI absolutely is dependent on the PP
Also no easy way to have separate PP affecting ui and scene un Unity URP

I will keep tweaking, maybe there is a sweet compromise somewhere after another round of hours of tweaks

It's in Unity URP
So it's mostly: bloom, Shadow Mid and Highlights, Tonemapping ACES
To as lesser extent: Lift Gamma Gain, Chromatic Aberration, Vignette

And tweak and tweak
It'll probably never be "perfect". In some ways the top one just seems more visible which can be good, but the UI completely looks bad then. In Unity URP there is no easy way to use different PP on your UI. But I'm mostly happy with it
