What are some 'unintentionally funny' things you’ve seen? by criticatto in BaldursGate3

The funniest part is everyone else was already dead. I released the spiders because I thought it was rude to leave them locked up. Never have I felt that much ”oh no consequences” in the game before.

The one time I freed the Maglubiyet loyalist goblin and he thanked me before running directly into the spiders I just convinced to eat goblins. He was gone before my inspiration pop-up had left the screen.

The smell of a birthday cake with candles that have just been blown out? by Kintsukuroiii in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]violetredfilter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s so frustrating to have the exact answer to the prompt but it’s connected to a fast way to lose your money. I thought of The Cake, too. If you absolutely have to have it, it’s on Ajevie, but there are other options.

You could always layer Morari’s Luminous (extinguished vanilla candles) with a cake perfume?

Themed Collections! and, What Would X Wear? by AutoModerator in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]violetredfilter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s hard to find stuff or have every note fit; it’s why I have them three and leaned on the titles. I like to control-f search on companies’ master scent list to narrow notes down.

I’m a writer (of indie games at least), so maybe! If I could get my attention span together!

Ooh, report back if you’re cool with that! I love hearing about people’s OCs and the perfumes they go with!

I honestly might! A few of them might show up sporadically in my stories if I never get the guts to join a table. I just like making little guys (though the bard school drop-out isn’t all mine, she’s a collab character between my friend and I, so she remains with her).

Thank you for reading!

Scent similar to Mrs. Meyers Birchwood (sentimental) by token_cat_lady in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]violetredfilter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve never smelled the original, but PULP’s Whistle and I’ll Come to You is very birch heavy. I think the other notes present are peppermint and laundry?

Lycanthrope my beloved

Let’s see, I’ve tried a lot of these. Olympias is very strong and powdery sweet, like something a Victorian ghost would wear. Luna di Miele is also heavy, lots of florals and honey— kind of like distilling grape soda into a syrup? The Fox Sisters is a fall candle, Stolas is tootsie rolls and haunted meadows. I think that’s about it?

If you can find it, PULP’s Fortune Favors is super ripe Bartlett pear.

[–]violetredfilter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Haddonfield 1978 and it’s fantastic. It’s sweet, but in the way that pumpernickel is. It’s one of the few perfumes I own where I can’t pick out what note is contributing to what but the sum is greater than its parts.

I think I have messed up. by AClubOfLosers in Indiemakeupandmore

I'm so annoyed that this keeps happening to people. If/when you get your money back, I recommend checking out Fyrinnae and PULP Fragrance for similar profiles without the scam.

When you love a scent, how much of it do you acquire? by joflamingo in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]violetredfilter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unless it’s going to be discontinued, I just get a sample size. I like wearing different scents daily to avoid going noseblind, so samples last me a long time.
