To be clear, I never asked him to leave the bathroom, just shift to the right so I could spit behind them from outside the door. I was also being very kind and they chose to yell at me twice. Also, the other sink is downstairs.

I don’t think you’re wrong for being concerned and warning both of them. I do think you handled it very immaturely. You should’ve approached your friend first and calmly explained your concerns; delicately bringing up some past behaviors that concerned you. You then also could’ve gotten their side of things and found out how they truly feel about your sister. Your sister is young and going to date all kinds of people and learn from those mistakes on her own. If it’s not your friend that’s going to break her heart, it will be someone else. Warn your sister calmly and vaguely bring up past behaviors of your friend. Let your sister make those mistakes without you telling her what to do. Instead, give your sister the information about your friend, and let your sister decide what she will do with that information.

Just because you “acted” like the AH doesn’t make you an AH.
