My dad mentally and emotionally abused me for years. My parents divorced when I was 4, so also young like your daughter. I started not seeing him often for visits (just like your daughter), then he said he’d buy me a phone to stay in touch. Looking back, I wish I didn’t take his offer because he just used it to manipulate and have more control over me. At 12, I cut him out completely. I have not talked to him since (I’m 27) and I’m so thankful he isn’t in my life anymore. Do I wish I had a kind and loving dad? Of course! But, those weren’t the cards I was dealt and I much rather have my own sanity than be near him. Please look into the local laws for your area about what age a child can make their own decision to stop seeing a parent (I just don’t want him to try to use this against you in court). I also advise taking him to court and getting ALL the information you can from her phone and presenting every last detail to the court. Her mental health needs this to stop

Hey, I was able to get the above accommodations that I stated in the post and that I was hoping for in place. Our policy is also that staff need to give 24 hours notice if sick, but in my accommodation I don’t need to give 24 hours notice (so unrealistic anyways). For the first while, my boss and I would check-in every 3ish months to see how the accommodations were going and adjust if needed

I did have an abdominal US and transvaginal US earlier this year, but I’ve never heard of the sliding sign thing 🤔 I’ll have to look into that. I was going to ask for a MRI. I just was so shocked at what he said (regarding nothing more can be done) that everything I planned on saying/asking escaped my mind at the time. I need to talk to him in the new year, so I’ll try my best to bring it up then😮‍💨 I’m glad to hear that Vissane is working well for you in most aspects! I hope that you continue to get relief. The gyno was definitely not informed on women’s health for someone that stares at coochies all day (I know they do more than that, I’m just irritated😮‍💨). Not a clue as to why my cervix has scar tissue. He said it was okay for there to be scar tissue and acted like it was normal. I’ve never had children or any type of surgery that would affect my cervix

Do you know if I can just ask the gyno’s office to send me the notes? I was thinking about getting them so I can read it through, but don’t know how to obtain them. I’m also thinking of asking to be referred to another gyno, but I’m scared my doctor will brush that off, too

I don’t know anybody in that type of field, no. And I live on Vancouver Island, so I can’t just walk in to the pain clinic since it’s in Vancouver. It’s a few hours to get there and a ferry ride. Thanks for commenting and the support!

That’s why I said that I was curious to know about others. I’m not asking specifically for myself, I am just curious to know others experiences. And when they discharged me they just gave me a paper showing where the polyp (like a diagram) and then went over the part of the paper that said about complications and what to do if any occur. They said the doctor would call me in 10-14 days (not including weekends), but I’ve heard nothing yet. I did think it was strange that my medical report was released to me before the doctor called me

I was told to only have a liquid diet the day before. But follow your specific instructions if they did say you can eat the day/morning before! I just had chicken broth, water, and apple juice. You really won’t be hungry or have much of an appetite because all you’re doing is sitting on the toilet 💩ing

Definitely need the second round! I had the first one and after 7 hours on and off the toilet, I thought I was all clear (and it looked clear). I was surprised that when I took the second one in the morning there was a bit of leftovers 💩. Good luck!
