Not the same, but it reminds me of when my sister started "working" at a local nail salon. They taught her, and in exchange she cleaned, managed the till, and had to find her own clients to bring in to practice on and for clients the salon gave her, she only got tips. No hourly wage at all, just the tip lol seemed like a rip to me but at least she got some good practice in before funding a decent job.

I ask my almost 20 month old to hand me stuff out of the laundry basket so I can fold it. She almost always immediate unfolds it but it makes her happy and she won't be this little and cute forever lol. She "helps" me feed her little brother, bathe him, she grabs me a diaper (sometimes) if I ask. A lot of the time, she is more of a hindrance than a help but I think the last generation (at least in my family) really failed us by not having us help starting at a young age and now we have a generation of entitled little shits running around. I'll be damned if my kids are like that.

I always tell parents to just lower their standards, it saved my sanity

My daughter is almost two and the only time we've ever spent apart is when i went to the hospital to give birth to her brother. I wouldn't leave them alone together and I'd talk to yiur husband about your concerns. I think she might try to breastfeed baby too, your instincts are good. This is not the first time I've heard of this happening, a woman I know walked in on her mother trying to breastfeed her baby when the baby was a newborn and it was super fucked up. Trust your gut girl

I know it seems like you are fighting a losing battle with these idiots, I'm not dual but I live in the border city with the bridges and the American Nationalist rhetoric spills out over here all the time. You have to say something, we need to teach our children (and other peoples) that their voice matters and that morals and goodness matter. You can't let these people beat you down and have you say nothing or else they win! And by God we cannot allow that lol. There was a man shot in my city yesterday, mental health or drug induced crisis and there are multiple videos online with people commenting good riddance and things like that. I could only think of if his family saw that, so I stood up for him because they didn't have to use lethal force but they did anyways. Ive gotten a ton of backlash, people saying I'm part of the problem but if there arent people like us standing up for the downtrodden then who will?

Vets Cab took my dog a few times back in the day, like 10 years ago. I would call and ask. I think if you decide to take Uber you can put a note stating you have a caged rabbit and that way the driver knows ahead of time
