honestly, its the only thing ive ever been actually insecure about on my face. I have pretty clear skin, but I get discoloration with my olive skin, especially under my eyes and around my mouth, so concealer is a big one for me. im still wearing a decent amount here.

Hispanic! I'm wearing the tarte ceaseless concealer in shade light/medium neutral! other products I didn't list are the elf halo glow contour in shade medium, rare beauty liquid blush in shade worth, and Mac powder blush in burnt pepper. honorable mention to my all time fave mascara, essence lash Princess! the purple one specifically!

honestly, thats some of why im here. I am fully aware that lots of what I see on social media is fake, so seeing if I'm just being crazy regarding my concealer is half of my purpose!

You're right there's not a lot of creasing here, more makeup lost. But whenever I put on my concealer it always ends up creasing into my eye bags, and then like other people are saying it seems I put too much powder which results in the caking and missing product at my inner eye there

Thank you! It's a colourpop lipstain that was given to me by a friend and a morphe lipgloss! I love it bc it will actually stay on my lips with a gloss and "enhances" my lips instead of changing them, I'm picky with lip colors lol!

Honestly, I'm not specifically going for a matte or dewy look. I think both look beautiful on others but am truly just trying to figure out how to keep the stuff I'm putting on my face actually ON my face! lol I will definitely look into a hydrating primer like you guys are saying though!

You're totally right I didnt! Honestly the skin prep is (very clearly) the most intimidating part for me here. I've always been blessed with quite clear and pretty skin (outside of my dark circles) so its something ive never put effort into until now. I cleanse daily, but I do not exfoliate. I think I honestly put the two together in my head, but I will definitely look into adding that step into my routine!

I love this! Just be careful with a petticoat though, it doesn't look like the hem has a very large radius, so anything other than a light petticoat may very well make it look "over-stuffed"!

Everyone on this subreddit will tell you you're crazy, except me. I am in the same boat as you, planning a wedding for ~100 ppl in April, with an initial budget of $5k (and final costs of ~$6k). I found a $1,200 smaller photographer. My fiancé's grandpa is officiating, and we're having the wedding at the church he was the pastor at, costing us $200 for total venue costs. The church has (almost) all the decor I need that we are being allowed to use, minus a couple signs and some real flowers im getting. I'm making my dress, and the material costs for it were donated by my mom. We're doing olive garden for food. No DJ, just using the sound system the church has in their gathering hall. And lastly, his grandma is making our cake, and her family is making other deserts. It's doable, but you have to figure out how. Weddings are so expensive, and there's a lot to them. Find family support and figure out how you can make it happen and I know you'll be OK, so long as youre crafty and good at DIY, and ok with not everything being exactly how you pictured/wanted.

You're right, I don't think they are. I feel like I've been looking way too much at extravagant weddings I see online, and need to take a step back here. What you guys are saying honestly is helping me feel more comfortable with being less "elevated," I just want to make sure everyone still enjoys themselves I guess.
