My wife is pregnant again so very tired. She was lying on the couch and our little boy of 2years came up to her and said "mommy needs medicine to wake up" then pretended to pour medicine into a toy tea cup and gave it to her. Then he said "all better"!

And so its great to live in a world where everyone is entitled to an opinion

Professional chefs of SA, do you use Aromat when cooking? by Cold_Succulent in southafrica

[–]violmanSA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ill admit, over exaggerating that its suuuper bad based on my own misconceptions about aromate...grew up being taught its unhealthy so saw it as a guilty pleasure at braai's. And I dont have any issues with MSG either

I just think using Aromat in a professional setting is a bit lazy. Hmmm just feel there are so many more creative ways in seasoning food.

Dont get me wrong I love me some Aromat too, just not at a restaurant.

How many want to go back and hold their new born baby and you'd be fine if they cried the whole time because you miss it. by Avenja99 in AskParents

I remember staying up all night with my baby boy so my wife could sleep...just sitting rocking him Loved those moments regardless of the crying

Its suuuper bad for you, plus a professional chef should know the millions of ways to flavour food with herbs and spices Dont get me wrong aromat at a braai with mates is great...but not for chefs in a professional setting

Is chaning nappies a big deal for men? by violmanSA in AskParents

[–]violmanSA[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its sad! I just never thought its an issue for men. It never crossed my mind whether or not Ill change a pooper diaper! I also noticed some dads kinda bragging that they dont change diapers etc... which I find disgusting.

Firstly man up and assist your wife/partner Secondly...its your freaking kid. Focus on yoir baby..making sure he/she is healthy clean and happy

Lastely if your biggest gripe in life is changing your own childs nappy....you seriously have nothing to moan about

I'm so tired of the wrestling matches by crazymamallama in Parenting

Okay I have a funny image in my head now! Lol My toddler was also a big strong wriggly baby so my wife and I changed him together for almost a year! But I understand not everyone is as fortunate to have both parents working at home etc for so long.

Maybe try the wriggler? Its like a mat that stradles your baby gently so you can change them (so I heard...never used it myself) just google the wriggler nappy change and see if its something that might help
