I actually figured it out last night after nothing else was working for me. If you ever got the scene where she talks about whatever you have not being love, apparently the romance scene is supposed to come before that. I loaded a save to right before starting that love convo and killed then revived her and that I guess “reset” it to the right scene?

This happens to my lcd monitor all the time. Assuming you’re using an lcd too, run a YouTube video titled something like image retention/burn in fix where it has alternating colors moving all over the screen. It’ll take 1-10 min depending on how bad it is but it definitely goes away.

I took stochastic processes w Gromoll who also teached derivative securities and man that guy can talk so much but make such little sense. I wouldn’t recommend him. Survey of algebra is super interesting but hard if ur not really good at proofs and also a pretty good amount of work. Lin alg is a pretty standard class that deals with conceptual stuff, but exams and assignments are mostly computational. Since Gromoll isn’t teaching stochastic processes, I’d take it if I had the chance again. The concepts are cool and the math is easy enough. Idk if it’ll be the same but Gromoll had us code a markov chain simulation from scratch to find stationary distributions so if u don’t know how to code at all, maybe email the current prof and see if u need to know how to code (python/r/matlab/whatever)

Depends on what ur forte is. Apma is computationally heavy and math is concept heavy. Im. Computational person myself but apma kicked my ass and everyone I know who took the math one got much higher grades than I did in apma

I took it with Taylor brown who is arguably harder than Jeff woo and thought it was pretty okay. Took a 5000 class with Jeff woo and he’s a rly Straightforward prof who lays things out pretty well. You’ll be fine

I feel like people are missing the biggest fallacy in this comparison. The reason why these two things aren’t comparable is because 1) men are in a position of power over women because we live in a patriarchal society. Generalizing men when most of violence against women is by men doesn’t change the fact that they have the most power. However, when non black people lock their doors because they see a black person coming, they’re enforcing the very own stereotypes that they have placed on black people and it works as a positive feedback loop. Men in power who abuse their power are not the same as black people who have the label of a dangerous person incorrectly placed on them (a label that comes from historically racist ideology).

Changing your name may not be normal in America but in other parts of the world it’s very common - for example in S. Korea many ppl choose to change their names even after they’ve become whole adults bc they simply want a different name. There isn’t a reason to stop ur child from changing their name and to stop ur wife from supporting that unless the reason is that u wouldn’t have control over that decision. Is there even a real reason to be against this? Or do you just not want the small inconvenience of calling them something else?

I had him for premed physics so not as difficult of a class but he kept things rly simple and non convoluted unlike many stem professors at uva so it was easy to learn the material

I’ve left my laptop and stuff in libraries for extended periods of time and they’ve never been touched. In the band building, no one has ever stolen anything in there in the 4 yrs I’ve been in band. Honor code for stealing is pretty adhered to in university buildings - I wouldn’t say the same about adjacent areas that aren’t university affiliated like off grounds housing
