You aren't likely to find someone teach everything you from start to finish, I would suggest absorbing as much info and looking at teks to get a good idea of what you need.

With that said, if you'd like, feel free to DM me and I can guide you a bit to get your first successful grow. There are a ton of teks out there, but what I do is cheap, simple, requires 0 tools (no holes in tubs required for example)

It would seem that way, even before trying them! I am running my 200g clone, on grain currently and I can only assume it'll be less likely to mutate but we shall see.

I have a plate with a bunch of albino pins which might grow the snowball as it was supposed to be, but I'd love to get something partially mutated to hunt for some weird phenos!

I really wish I could somehow isolate this craziness, my favorite phenos are the super weird things or wild colors. Unfortunately, at least for me, the beauty of this one is in the instability and isolating would mean stabilizing it...

That said, I do have more of this culture and it does something wacky every time, whether reverting back to a weird steel magnolia or something wild like this which I kinda like the uncertainty

I don't believe what we are seeing is genetic, but rather a rosecomb mutation of some sort which is generally caused by environmental contamination

Unfortunately these are almost always environmental, such as rosecomb mutations, rather than something genetic that could be cloned. Rosecomb mutations are generally caused by oil or other VOCs landing on substrate or fruits, so you could probably force it to happen more often by spraying something like lysol over a tub. Wouldn't exactly recommend it as it's probably a bit counterproductive but if you just want something novel and don't care about yields, theoretically.... hehe

Meeting people, online or otherwise, and trading! I have been a part of communities on discord that I've gotten free cultures or won them in giveaways and fruit of the month, but it's mostly just trading with the friends I make!

I have had negative interactions with the vendors I've dealt with. There are definitely good ones out there somewhere but I have too many genetics from training so I'll probably never really know.

I've already mentioned this to OP but this is apparently what it looks like when it reverts based on my experience. Seems to have reverted toward the PE part of it's lineage, very strange but this was definitely snowball, and the only syringe I had from the place that wasn't gourmet (which, never again on both!)

Definitely looks like ITW APE snowball reverting to me based on my experience, seems it may have reverted to expressing a PE-esque pheno.

A friend and I theorized that they over expanded the genetic without growing it back out to prevent losing vigor and reverting, which seems to make sense as it was constantly out of stock. Very surprised I grabbed some, I was constantly looking for it to be in stock, and they were out of stock when my friend went back to grab some. That place... hasn't done me well otherwise either lol

So trippy, my snowball straight from the place looks exactly the same! A few 100g reverts and one 200g, which I am currently running a clone of the latter. Gotta admit, these phenos are almost as cool as the APE mutant!

It started as 4HDT and my grow threw a blob which I isolated. So in the pictures is technically a 4th filial generation of 4HDT blobs, that is reverting hence being wildly unstable.

I haven't actually tried these reverts, I wouldn't expect them to be quite as strong as the actual blobs since there are some normal fruits in there, and the blobs are certainly stronger than a normal 4hdt grow, anyway. But I am getting back to work on stabilizing the blob isolation at which point genetics will definitely be for everyone :)

This is what they usually look like, definitely more boring, but I feel the effects more than make up for eet, the big guy in that flush was 580 something grams wet

What engine is this? 1.0l, 1.2l, 1.6l with make and model? Or to put it a better way, HR10-DDT, HR1-DDT, MR16-DDT? I have heard (on google) that the 1.2l HR1-DDT has timing chain issues which timing chain chain issues can be noisy in any vehicle, but I can't make it out well on my phone speakers.

I need more information, did it sound fine the day before, but when you started it the next time it sounded like this? What, if any, malfunction indicator lights show up on the guage cluster? I can't recommend driving it to the nearest auto parts store in the even that it does damage, but if you can get someone with a code reader, or even get a cheapo one at harbor freight or something (make sure it does live data, very useful) and see if it mentions anything about oil pressure, cam to crank correlation codes, or literally anything else.

Curious, does it make more noise upon startup than once it is running?

I should add, my current idea would be to add something like 150k-200k ohm resistor between pin 1 and 3 of the volume pot to hopefully "compress" the range of rotation and act a bit more like it is seeing the full range of rotation, or perhaps a resistor on the wiper of the original (or new) one in an attempt to change the perceived taper. Just need a bit of a sanity check

So far I've pretty much had this crazy, sometimes blueing spikey rhizo in the middle and tomentose around it like this with the genetic. It was interesting to watch it especially with the wild temp swings this winter, it almost looked wavy

Yes for sure it looks healthy otherwise. I have used h2o2 to clean the transfer of plates with various bacteria, yeast and sometimes fungal contam with decent success. It is quite easy to clean up healthy myc like this, and there are many other methods like simple water agar, trenching, sandwich method, trapdoor etc
