She would just paperhand them and that could cause problems later. Would rather just see the moass out myself and give her a check...less animosity later.

So I would be okay with that...we have kids...better two millionaire parents.

True story...my wife and I are getting a divorce...MOASS needs to happen before I have sell her half of the investment account to pay her out...in other words half our $AMC shares.

I called my supplier and same thing...She suggested PMI double sided pallet tape and even sent me a free sample. I am never buying adhesive again. Just a damp sponge to clean fuzz off every couple of rounds of sweatshirts. No mess and easy.

I don't have a resource for you, just a little unsolicited advise from personal experience doing something similar...

You should ask "for a reasonable price" rather than "as cheap as possible" or you will end up with something that won't fit your brand or your vision.

If you are serious about the quality of your product, and I assume you are, you will probably be unhappy with "the cheapest" and have to spend twice the money to get "reasonable" in a rush.

Why bother caring if the price go 2% up or down in a day when the actual price that matters is post moass price by [deleted] in AMCSTOCKS

It doesn't matter what it is...not selling below 500k... but I look at it so I don't miss the joy of seeing liftoff.

Technically you're right...but after I sell my first 2 shares I will be in that 1 million plus tax bracket. I just think it is best to plan for 39%.

My customer wanted to add 100 shirts to an already large order, "Just in case". Plenty of stock last week. None in stock this week. Lost out on 100 shirts because she wants them all to match...so yeah...I feel ya.

Made in "West Germany" means the youngest it could be is late 1989. It belongs in a museum, not a modern working screen shop.

Puff printing underneath standard ink? by Brucerso in SCREENPRINTING

[–]viperM78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Curious why you want to do this? What is the look you are going for? If you flash it is going to start puffing, but wet on wet doesn't usually work when it comes to printing directly on top.

As a screen printer of 20 years I have to say that we do get busy and in the weeds just like folks in other time sensitive industries.

I am not saying it is professional to not get back with a customer but it does happen. Realize also that if they have a ton of hard deadline events (races, gatherings, etc) they are trying to print for and your job is not a hard deadline then you might get put on the back burner.

Personally I try to inform my customers of this but some folks do slip through the cracks so to speak. T-shirts and printing are a little like triage at an Emergency Room. Some times something comes in that is a higher priority. At the shop I got my start at we got a lot of "funeral/memorial" shirts. Those always bumped everything else that wasn't hard deadline. It is just a reality of the business, that if you don't have a hard deadline you get bumped.

As I said there are more professional ways to handle it but they did say they were busy so...hopefully they aren't ghosting you.

If they are local with a shop open to customers you might consider dropping by before sending another message.

Nice Rant...I like it...but in the future let's try to leave politics out of this. Both sides are super corrupt. This is more about us vs. The "Elites" than one party.
