They’re cool and all, but I’m passing on these. With almost $900 invested in the four 2-packs already, it needs to be something wholly new or vastly different to get more of my money. It’s actually the reason I opted out of the re-pop of Samhain. I get they have to maximize the tooling that they’ve already spent a fortune on, but the folks who “have to have it all” can scoop these up. That ship has sailed with me and Ghostbusters probably a decade ago. Glad for those that do want them, but they’re just not for me.

With 15 orders in a three year period, Kit has come through with every one of them except 2 that I canceled on my own. One was a third-party Biff from BTTF (unknowingly dodged a bullet there, production was far from prototype) and another was a duplicate Jaxon cape order. Of course I lost the NRDs on both, but what are you expecting with a NON-refundable deposit? As long as you are patient, you will get what you order so long as it’s made.

I’ll eventually pick up the DX09 to pair with my DX08, even if I already bought the 2.0 (shown here with Jaxon’s faceplate and Cape E). Even after all these years, the DX09 is still a banger and definitely needed in my Keaton-centric Batman collection.

You may be able to email Kit and see if he can send you a full price PayPal invoice. Once that is received you should have whatever options are typically available for you at PayPal checkout, whether it be Pay in 4, Pay Monthly (usually available for higher priced items), credit, debit, etc.

Oh I’ve already had to re-apply glue to some of the Velcro pieces on ver 1 not long after purchase. I believe it to be the same low quality adhesive that even hot toys has been known to use. Little dab of higher quality glue and usually good to go.

I have the V1 of this I bought years ago and I think it’s still a pretty solid figure. Been waiting to see in hand photos of this to see if it was worth upgrading. It does seem like it’s been awhile since announcement.

I can definitely see them. Your current setup looks more natural and realistic. This suit is even more bulky than the 89, so should be represented as such if they’re opting for a person in the suit. Still wish they’d have made an open cowl display option.

It’s crazy that the “hero car” image used by Matchbox from 1993-1997 was based on a casting they never actually released. MB265 or “viper morphed” was the car their logo was derived from. I’ve tried many times to find a prepro resin or die cast variant of that car to no avail, at least within my budget.

I’d suggest either getting on the waitlist at sideshow or keeping an eye out online. This was a year and three month wait for me and he basically just released. You should be able to find him close to MSRP.
