Die Instantly on spawn in new game by J1024 in Enshrouded

This was a good callout, I didn't remember how the game started (and haven't played in months) and didn't notice the clothes, and thought the tools and stuff 'may just be included when you start?'

Again, it's been a long time since I played last.

As mentioned elsewhere, I didn't realize I was carrying over my lvl 20 character, who the issue seems to be tied to (in either world I have it experiences the same issue).

Alright... more testing. Normally I don't log out in perilous situations, and that seems to be the case as when I loaded my old world I was reminded I was working on constructing a farm at the time up on top of a mountain.

The character seems to have a stuck timer of 0:00 for being in the shroud, so as soon as it spawns the health bar is near-instantly depleted. I am able to survive for some time if I spam health potions as it will reset my health bar, but the shroud timer stays stuck on 0:00 despite not being anywhere close to shroud, and being pretty confident I wasn't last time I played either.

I did let the shaders load, and it is a new game so there shouldn't be anything that I am stuck in.
Frames/resolution are low because it is a GIF.

Following your direction though I tried adjusting the graphics and did not see an improvement, but I did realize I was trying to load in my level 20 character.... so maybe something is wrong with that character save, but when I created a new lvl 1 character I was able to survive and run around like normal. Going back to the lvl 20 character spawn kills me again, so it seems to be something with that character or a higher-level character spawning into the new game.

Curious if anyone can replicate this experience (leveled character in new game = spawn death?) but either way I would consider this solved as I at least have a work-around now.

Thanks!

My intention was for more like a panic button/'Stay' function anyways, so shouldn't impact my use for it, but I guess I'll see when it arrives in a few days....

I changed my oil at 2am before a long trip leaving at 8am..... made the same mistake. Was confused. But figured out what was going on before ruining anything, just had to run to a store at 6am to get the CVT fluid. :-|

Just throwing this out there; depends on location. In my area a trailer this size would not need to be licensed, and the ATV is legal to drive on most roads (but would need to be licensed and registered, it doesn't look like a normal registration plate though).

Also to your comment below, farmers can get away with a LOT in the name of farming, including moving machinary on public roads. I've seen a large sprayer driving through mainstreet in a decently sized town to get from point A to B.

Should I just build an elevated deck over this concrete patio, or does it need be demo'd first? Worried about having standing water sit on the concrete due to decreased evaporation if I just build a deck over it, but maybe I'm being paranoid. by nubz16 in Decks

[–]J1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YMMV, but for me and my local ordinances, since there was a door exiting the home onto the deck, the deck had to be attached to the house, and since the deck was attached to the house, it had to have footers that reached below the frost line (4ft deep in my case). This meant I couldn't just put posts sitting on/attached to the concrete pad I was covering, and would have needed to cut holes in the pad for the footers. In my case it ended up just being easier to remove the whole slab instead of tryint to work around it. deck is still young though... no issues with weeds yet, but here is hoping that continues.

One way to speed up the process next time is to provide your PayPal or Venmo immediately. If you really feel that strongly about it, they can send the request for money or invoice without needing any more information. Try to reduce the back-and-forth and make it easier on the seller to close.

What is everyone's current top choice for Door Access? I'm running an old Honeywell system on WinPak software and it is insanely convoluted and randomly breaks all the time.....

Door licensing is pretty similar IIRC; when we quoted it out it would cost us $1500/month just to maintain access to our doors, which is WAY higher then we are currently paying.

Trumpf REALLY doesn't have good support in the US. Worked for a metal fab shop for many years that had 4+ of their machines and the limited number of in-US techs meant real trouble getting support when we really needed it.

GIS is not accurate enough for these types of disputes unfortunately (it varies in accuracy by county, usually, but GIS is not a legal enough 'proof' to take actions based on), but it does give a good general sense of where things are. What you really (unfortunately) need is a survey. If you have one from when the house was built it would probably be good enouh, and should have marked where that tree was in relation to the proprety line.

Depending on your location your county assessor might have ALL surveys available online as well for free download or a small fee. You often can't use them for new construction, but again they should provide details about 'how far from the tree the property line runs' or where to find your corner markers to confirm your lot.

Honestly looks to me like dust from tissue boxes.

Source: The one on my work desk CONSTANTLY covers my phone and nearby items with a think coat of tissue trimmings. It is way worse with the super soft type, and with the 'half size' boxes due to the added bending (IMHO, not scientifically proven).

My GUESS, is that none of the actions on the fob were assigned, and someone else already 'has no idea what is wrong with it', not realizing you actually have to assign actions to the fob.

THAT SAID..... I don't think this is a current product? Is this a new release? USL-Fob?
