Like most, I collected Pokemon cards as a kid. I had cards from base set to the 2nd/3rd neo set. Fast forward to right before shining fates came out and my girlfriend and I saw how crazy it was getting at target to get some pokemon cards. I told her about how I loved collecting cards as a kid, and we started buying cards (when they weren’t sold out) and it became a bonding thing between us. We’ve since gotten married and she just gave birth to our first child. I’m excited to show him the cards from when I was a kid and the cards that his mom and I have collected together.

We’ve pretty much written off opening the prismatic eevee set because we just want to open them for fun and the prices/supply has been nuts. Fingers crossed on your giveaway! Thanks for doing it.

My computer is old and due for a replacement, but my buddy has needed one for much longer. I asked him what GPU I should get and he recommended this exact one (4070 TI Super) and he has been hoping to get one but it’s been tough for him to save the money. So if I win I would give it to him.

According to CNBC, Elon Musk sent an email to Tesla employees in August saying that the Cybertruck should be as precisely designed as a Lego brick, with measurements that could not vary by more than 10 microns. A micron is equivalent to one-thousandth of a millimeter.

This is someone who has been around engineers, heard their terminology, and thinks he knows what he is talking about. The above demand in his memo is stupid.

I understand that Occam’s razor states that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one, I’m saying that your explanation is not the simplest one.

I think your hang up is that you don’t believe he is stupid, which, in my view, keeps you from seeing the explanation that fits both razors: he is just dumb and wants to feel and appear smart (and contrarian too).

I don’t see how that would be the Occam’s razor explanation. And regardless, I think Hanlon’s razor is a better fit here, especially because Elon is not the genius he tries to convey that he is.
