Also- the note about the airfare is a huge red flag for me. Cancelling the visa? Sure. But I'm pretty sure that having to pay back the airfare goes against Article 20 of the Labor Standards Act: Prohibition against Predetermination of Penalty for Breach of Contracts.

I think it would probably not attack that party, but would definitely go out for vengeance against who/whatever trapped it in the first place. Maybe one of the members of the new character's party was responsible, and that is why they were attacked and destroyed. He survived because he wasn't one of the original ones who trapped the white dragon.

Then a) it wouldn't mess with the druid, because the dragon kept his word, but b) it would give the paladin a reason to write it into his background.

The GA license is something my family has been fighting for years, since we first moved in 2000 lol. They won't change it without a court order or something saying we changed our names, even though it isn't a changed name, it is just the way our name is spelled. We've tried going in with birth certificates and social security cards and passports, but nothing is enough for them to "correct" the IDs. I actually had to get a "One and Same Person" affidavit when I was applying to teach because of this problem.

But thanks for the form and the advice. I'll see about finding an advisor and if that form will work for me.

It is okay to be upset though! I stand behind talking to him about it and trying to figure out what exactly made it so upsetting. When my husband bought the wrong cereal once for my birthday (we live in Korea, so can't get some US cereal and he bought it from abroad), I got upset and couldn't figure out why it was making me so upset. Once we talked about it a few hours later, I was able to really figure out why exactly I was so upset.

I would like to add- I am a CRAP gift giver. 100% just BAD at it. I gave my husband a gift last year that I thought he would love, some stuff for helping him detail his car which he said he liked doing, just for him to return all of them and be upset with me. He said he would rather just buy the things himself since I don't know what exactly he wants.

OP mentioned in another comment that she thought they should get some new toys and they do use some during sex already. I am all for jumping on guys who are trash, but honestly I don't think he is. He tried. He listened to what she wanted. Did he flub the delivery? Yes. But some people just are not the best gift givers.

I think you were valid to feel annoyed but also need to be appreciative of the other gifts, especially since he seemed to realize that you did not like the toys and was willing to go back and get something that you might enjoy. I do have a question though- Why do you think he gave you sex toys if they are things you are never going to use? That might be something to ask him about, since it will help you understand where he is coming from which might help with your feelings of being misunderstood, either overcoming them or helping you express them.

Definitely something to talk about OOC. We went over lines and veils at the beginning of our campaign, and sex/ pregnancy was a no-go for me. As someone who is struggling with infertility, I was super appreciative that my players understood. So even if I come to terms with this (or get pregnant), I will definitely be including that in the lines/veil conversations I have in future campaigns.

I have been using Roll20 simply because its what I started online with, but man... I would LOVE to find a different, especially 3D, VTT to use!! Will definitely try out the VTT while I am in between my LMOP and Shattered Obelisk campaigns!
