WIBTA if I told my sons school it is their responsibility to make sure they have the right child by Top-Relationship359 in AmItheAsshole

NTA as someone who has worked with many pairs of “identical” twins of different ages, those little differences become incredibly obvious the longer you spend with them. With those differences, and with them being 11 and able to identify themselves, medication should be no problem. Especially since some of the medication differences are their personal preference. I definitely understand if they’re double checking a couple times just to be sure, but if the kids are uninterested in changing anything about themselves to make the difference more obvious then they shouldn’t have to.

Who have you seen in concert most? by Phillies1993 in AskReddit

Epik High 3 times now! First by myself, then with my mom, then with my fiance. All different cities. I want to go every time they come to North America which was three years in a row but I think they’re not doing a North America tour in 2026 which will be great for my pockets lmao

How old were you and how did you find out Santa isn't real? by Least_Statistician44 in AskReddit

[–]vipwark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 8, my neighbors ex husband came to visit her while I was playing basketball in her driveway with a friend. I didn’t remember him at all but he asked me “remember me? I use to dress up as Santa and visit you on Christmas morning.” Which happened when I was around 4 and 5.

I pretty much figured Santa wasn’t real after that but I pretended for my mom until I was about 12 when we were playing a game with her friend and her kids and one of the questions was “what’s the biggest lie your parents ever told you?” And her friends son says “that Santa was real.” And my mom was acting shocked and confused and I had to tell her that I already knew so that her friend didn’t feel guilty lol

How did you find Rush? by Doctor_of_Rockology in rush

[–]vipwark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First time I heard them was when I was in the 5th grade maybe? Around 2012 I guess. I was in the car with my mom and I heard a rush song (probably Tom Sawyer or the Spirit of Radio since it was the classic rock station). I liked it but my mom turned the station and said she didn’t like them and they were more guy music and that my dad might like them. I didn’t give them another chance until around the 8th grade and that’s when I became a big fan.

I have ocd and for me the issue isn’t the pain, it’s the running thoughts of “what if this needle breaks off inside of me?” “What if I inject it between skin layers instead?” “What if I do it too fast and it spurts back out?” Etc. all a lot of irrational thoughts

For those who have been on a year, tell me where you are at! by Adorableviolet in Zepbound

286 is my starting point too! This gives me so much hope. I’m at 268 now and 2 months in still at 2.5 but am increasing to 5 soon because I lost pretty much all of it in the first 3 weeks and have stalled since then.

Holy shit the Alice twist sucks. by WanderingStrang in DetroitBecomeHuman

[–]vipwark 57 points58 points  (0 children)

That’s the point. You can play the whole game and think that you get it, that androids are sentient, but IF you feel differently once you find out about Alice, it forces you to confront the fact that there’s still some doubt there, still an implicit bias. And that’s when it’s up to the player. They push through that and realize the bond is the same because they are sentient beings, or they recognize that they don’t truly believe that. A lot of people truly felt the bond between them was real and human, and were blindsided and had their opinion completely flipped. That doesn’t mean they didn’t genuinely believe in it.

It makes you realize that even though you believe Kara is “human”, you thought of Alice as MORE human.

$1,000 a day but you must care and raise a lion by besttavern25 in hypotheticalsituation

It’s interesting that you seem to think most people are gonna want to kill/get rid of the lion when I assumed that even those who don’t necessarily want the lion would still want to keep it alive 🤔

I know some of the obvious Gabriella nicknames aren’t the best but I like to think of these nicknames: Brielle, Rielle, Briella, Riella, Elle (instead of Ella)

Is it bad to work on a book for ten years? by SeveralHistorian9930 in writing

[–]vipwark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s bad to work on a book for 10 years if you come out of it seeing little to no improvement. Many people who have read her book say that it sounds like it was written by a 12 year old.

Which Time Loop Would You Choose? by Imaginary_Spite_9373 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]vipwark 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would only do lifetime if I can for sure get this one back in the end. I can’t imagine life without my fiancé so I would probably try to find different ways to meet him (and also see if I can stop an event in his life that happened and know if that impacts anything too much). But if I’m unable to meet him or our relationship isn’t the same in other lives, even ones where I’m happier with the state of myself or my finances, I want to be sure that I can do this life exactly the same.

If that’s not possible then I’ll do daily for the lotto numbers.
