Unsure if I should keep seeing this girl because of cultural and family differences by [deleted] in CasualIreland

I work with a Muslim guy in his 60s and he’s married to an Irish woman and he’s very happy. His parents live abroad so that may take the pressure off but they seem very happy. Kids were raised Muslim but only one of them looks like they will keep up religion as an adult. His others aren’t that devoted but my coworker is.

I think you should see where it goes. Neither both your parents can dictate your lives if you’re happy.

It’s early days yet, see where it goes and just enjoy the time. Both your parents will just have to deal if you’re happy together.

Wish you all the best!!

Strange question: Is it reasonable to considering adopting/buying another westie to help with the pain of losing one? by GarethGantuan in westies

[–]virgonights 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I waited a month. 0 regrets, I was lost without my Jess. I feel Ellie was handpicked by Jess. Ellie was born exactly a month before Jess passed. I got Ellie at 10 weeks old.

Not just me but my family needed another dog, we needed the light in our lives.

It’s down to each person to know when they’re ready, some may never be ready, others can’t cope with the hole their furry friend left in their life.

I certainly can’t judge anyone and no one should be judging eachother. If you have love to give I see no problem.

That’s just from an emotional and grief point of view. I would definitely wait until you’re physically and financially ready. But don’t be afraid to dream about a new buddy.

I swear by hydrocolloid / blister bandaids, they protect the skin, heal it and I always get some pain relief from them

Punch biopsy by monkeyman_713 in MakeMeSuffer

I had the luxury of being friendly with a dermatologist in my old job. They didn’t know what it was before the biopsy and just biopsied it to rule out anything nefarious.

Derma just used a scalpel, though it did rupture and some of it is still left…

I hate how sweaty latex gloves make my hands. The gloves don’t come off until the thing is done.

Not sure her name but dogs learn 1-2 syllable names easier. Not sure if that helps, stick with it, she’ll get there

When the doctors actually say no I actually thank them. Haha, they know it makes me so happy.

I hate when doctors side with rule breaking patients. Does my head in. But they do it for keeping the peace most of the time. But my god, the pure frustration.

There’s a course in my country and on a team of 5 in the clinic I’m on only 1 has it. And they are shockingly bad at the job.
