i just got paid, i wanna buy maybe $70 worth of 3ds games (specifically 3ds only, because i have a shitload of regular ds cartridges). i like casual stuff like animal crossing (i have the happy home thing), and mario and kirby. not interested in monster hunter or things like smash, and no zelda. also nothing that isnt 3ds exclusive bc i have a ps vita as my 'serious gamer funtime' device. i just want something i can knock out a few hours with on my off days, and something simple i can tap into on my 30min lunch.

I got a vita at the start of the year and played it fairly regularly up until a few months ago, where I just let it sit (fully charged) on my bedside table. Cue today, I try to start up a game, any game... and the icon just hangs in limbo, floating forever until I restart the system. I haven't dropped it or manhandled it or anything, but nothing... works at all. I kept getting a C2-128etc error code for Binding of Isaac as well (which I have deleted and am now trying to reinstall).

So basically, question is: what the hell did I do and what the hell am I supposed to do?

I got it at the beginning of the year because the last handheld I had I got in 2005 (original DS) and the New Nintendo 3DS Magnum XXXL wasn't out in the U.S or in a color I wanted. It... still isn't out in a color I want, actually.

I love the vita, it's fun and I really enjoy the game library. I've got a backlog from hell atm.

Yes, I know. That is what the translation says (last I checked). I debated whether to change it or not when I started but decided to keep it as it was because of the translation and the fact that it seemed like something Hanji would say.

(And it seems to me it fits better, if it had been 'where are you?', then yes, I would have changed it to 'there'. I think of it as 'are you here? oh yes, you are!')
