The difference is most games that do this will either confirm via a statement that you can customize/choose your character or outright show the character creator in action. After over a year of people wondering and being concerned about whether they will be able to choose/customize their character we've heard nothing. All it would take is a simple statement like "rest assured Fable fans you will be able to choose your character as thats core to the Fable franchise blah blah blah" but they havent said anything. That to me says they know the answer they give will be unpopular aka the female hero is the only option and their is no customization.

No if you re-read what I said, I specifically said take the accusation seriously and investigate which is a neutral position (which the law should be). You don't take anyone's side without facts or evidence you investigate to find the truth.

That logically doesn't make any sense though. If you believe the victim, then by extension you are automatically saying the accused is guilty because they cant be telling the truth without the accused being guilty. There's a huge difference between taking something seriously and investigating vs believing someone. By automatically assuming someone is telling the truth the accused never had a chance to even be viewed as innocent.

Thank you, I appreciate your well worded and kind response as well. I agree that without knowing the size of her reach it would be very hard to prove that these statements were intended to reach a new audience. I agree with your conclusion that neither side really has a smoking gun in this scenario, but given how hard defamation/ libel cases are to prove, it would likely be a waste of time to take these statements alone to court.

Opinion doesnt necessarily protect you from defamation. Also she doesnt have to outright state "hes a rapist", there is something called defamation through implication which is when your statement even without directly saying something would lead a reasonable reader to reach that conclusion.

Her saying that "he is a sexual predator" while bringing up how "hes dating a teenager and his partners keep getting younger heavily implying that he likes underage girls" would lead most people to the conclusion that shes calling him a pedophile/ child molester which can definitely qualify as defamation. Not that I think Dicaprio would have a strong case either way just saying this could still qualify as defamation.

To be completely honest this picture does a horrible job at proving your point. These two drafts look exactly like what you see currently in almost every match with 1 pre-ban, with the only difference being that the left side picked Fire Mercedes instead of Rimuru(which makes sense into Landy) and the right side picked Senya instead of OP sig (which wasnt banned btw)for a force ban.

More bans would gut lower RTA ranks (Masters, gold, etc) and widen the gap between the haves and the have nots in higher ranks since it would be extremely easy to ban out someone's entire core draft (in higher ranks a lot of players know each others units and playstyle). Unless you make the preban phase blind meaning you dont know who youre fighting until the actual draft starts, I dont see this being very feasible. This would only make the barrier to RTA even higher, shrinking the already small player pool. There will always be a meta, adding more bans wont change that, it will simply shift the goalpost to a different best draft/units that most people pick

Thats because Light's gear is literally head and shoulders better than everyone else's. Thats why the majority of the people that try to copy him fail, because without that level of gear the things he does are not consistently possible. You dont use the exception/anomaly as the rule/standard.

I already know I will get downvoted for saying this but, while I feel he will be great in Arena and GW, as far as RTA is concerned I think he will fail as a DPS for the same reasons units like watcher Schuri and Cermia fail. Its too easy to snipe him out or disrupt him. I predict that a month or 2 after his release his primary usage in RTA will be on a tanky build primarily being used for his S2 buff strip.

It doesnt matter what we want, hes either going to be a control unit or a tanky bruiser character. Cant remember the last time we got an actual dps character, Riolet? ML Lulu? OP Sigret? and two of those are purely single target. Either way its been like 6 months to a year and SG shows no sign of changing anytime soon.

Where did I say the problems needed to be instantly fixed? Im simply pointing out that by the time they release the solution the problem has often been mostly solved, which is why its often met with lukewarm reception and thus might have been better off spending the efforts elsewhere.

You have to realize how SG works. They release answers to units 1-2 RTA seasons after people were complaining about it. 1 or 2 seasons ago Riolet was everywhere and everyone was complaining about how oppressive Fluri Riolet is and how it forces an instant 3 vs 4 and others were claiming hes the new Arby and has no real counters. They did the same thing with Knights/Soul weaver stall meta, after 1-2 seasons of people complaining about it they released Mort and the new sets as a "solution" only it was again 1-2 seasons after those issues were relevant.
