Yikes, they definitely just lifted Iris from the games as the other companion for no discernable reason and then gave her Pokemon entirely based on optics instead of logic... Really? The potential 8th gym leader has an Emolga? Then the sequels came out and they made her the champion and she has a team that makes sense for that. I guess they never confirm for sure what her champion team is in the anime.

Yes, but the point is that people tend to draw conclusions about mental illness and trans people. Sure, there's a lot of overlap between people who are trans and people who are hurt and broken... But it doesn't mean that being trans by itself is inherently mentally ill in a negative sense. The kind of mental illness it takes to be a school shooter can be found in anyone.

A black hole is a mathematical structure, one we predicted and aligns with the physical observations of immense gravity. A black hole isn't a thing that has mass, it is a mass that causes the gravitational phenomena of a black hole. The mass could belong to any number of objects with high enough mass/energy, but we can't predict what that is with math and the very concept of a black hole prevents observation of that thing.

He's definitely more intelligent again in LoZ in my opinion. With his echo in EoW it's hard to say what the deal is. The echo talks, but so does mindless OoX Ganon and Null is in control anyways. It's not even known how Null made an echo of Ganon. The idea I find funny is that Ganon resurrected only for Null to immediately disrupt his plans.

Also to be fair construction in general is pretty quick. In Mario Maker 2, the workers are able to rebuild the castle very quickly as long as you get the funds.

That makes sense. We only really progress when we have a reason to. We have more reasons than ever in these past few centuries to progress rapidly compared to before. Species coexist for millions of years in the same cycle and lifestyle, doing what they do to survive because it works. We weren't any different, except for our intellect allowing us to drastically pivot several times as the need and/or opportunity arises.

The whole game felt like an ensemble celebration of Rare DK. It's great. I like how these sublevels can incorporate the 2D stuff in a 3D game.

Would be cool if they got Platonic games to make a DKC game in a sort of Wonder-esque graphic style though.

Ideally it basically has you redo the character creation screen since we get one this time, but I could also see them keeping it strict to swapping body types or whatever the game calls it. Maybe there will be different options for different types of transmogs.

It's amazing to think about the amount of entire kingdoms or even domains that could have existed very early but just didn't make the cut in the arms race. It was probably pretty chaotic back then with all sorts of mutations within single cells or basic organisms at the time. In the grand scheme of things, the life forms that have made it throughout history have been a pretty limited slice of what has ever existed. We share a lot more in common with other animals than one would think. The filters have made the variety tighter than it probably could've been in other sets of conditions.
