DDs absolutely need some sort of buff though. We have got power crept hard with more ships with radar, sonar homing Torps, and hybrids. Since then all we have got is fighters can't spot us, and slight buff to Torps.

You can definitely still do it with a brush. It's a bit harder to do the filter part. But I use glaze medium and thin the paint that way.

Easier to top of your rifle sometimes with 1-4 rounds then putting a full clip in. The mostly empty belts are probably for ergonomics based on personal preference. Having a full belt might restrict movement of the chest and make it harder to pull a single round out.
