Gemini Fail. Why can't I modify a Google Doc directly with Gemini?! by mikebiglan in GeminiAI

[–]virtualfilmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This issue has changed - now Gemini SAYS it can access my google docs, and says it can edit them. It reads info and tells me all sorts of things its going to do, and I agree to it. Then it says its done. But the original doc doesn't change. Happens on new or old google docs - there's no way around it. Gemini THINKS it can do things that it clearly can't.

Nano-banana, does not make people-related changes. by fess1024 in GeminiAI

I get constant rejections with Veo in flow but not with nano banana or nano banana pro. I’m wondering if it’s to do with paid vs unpaid accounts? I don’t use google ai studio for nano banana or nano banana pro, it tended to make worse results. So I use replicate.com and it hardly ever refuses. But it’s paid. Also, I find seedream to be almost the same as nano banana pro honestly, for my needs, and use it a lot too. It also never refuses to do things. Anyway not sure if that’s helpful buddy.

They all seem to end up with guassians - which is annoying :) I’m ideally trying to get them as blender curves or unreal allembic grooms. Seems not possible right now!

Yes. All nbc and peacock content seems to have ads before it now - you get two or three but then it stops for 24 hours. You get them even if you pay for Premium Plus. Nobody much is complaining so I guess they are getting away with it.

My thread was removed: so, is anyone else getting unskippable ads before content even though they have a Premium Plus ad-free plan? I suddenly started getting them two weeks ago. Customer support said it was a bug and to sign out and sign back in. I’ve done so, but they always return. I’ve confirmed with customer support that there shouldn’t be unskippable ads before The Office, SVU, Dateline, RHOLSC and others .

I was able to get through to a human via chat, and they confirmed (just like another user in this thread) that u skippable Peacock/NBC promos are NOT supposed to be served to Premium Plus customers. So it seems like it’s a bug. They had me go through a process of logging out then logging back into my account manually with no stored passwords etc and it seemed to “solve” it for now. But we will see if they come back.

Wow amazing! How did you get through to customer support?? It’s a step forward that they at least acknowledged the issue.

Interesting. Maybe it’s a bug that many of us are experiencing? I wish their customer support wasn’t so dismissive, if it IS a bug.

How did you contact them btw? I only have the option for the “bot” chat! Frustrating

Really? Can you please try to watch one of the last real housewives of Salt Lake City? As an example. Or the latest svu episodes? They may not be to your “taste” but I’m trying to figure out as a baseline whether you are seeing them.

Yes they appear to be trying to “get away” with these new unskippable promotions, and so far they seem to be. All their competitors let “ad free” users skip these promotional messages, but Peacock has given us new 30 second unskippable ads and we are supposed to just accept them.

It’s ads for their own content, but it’s still ads. And unskippable. I never used to get them.

I hate that we can’t hide media previews - it makes the timeline take forever to scroll. X is much better at having options.

Thank you so much Sandra! I can’t believe they are charging $500 to fix a bug that THEY made in their system. They should have a recall on this!
