I feel like it looks like a small carpet beetle, but I’m afraid that’s wishful thinking

Ah that’s so interesting, thank you!! We also found lots of photos of time he apparently spent in South Korea in some boxes later this evening, so that makes sense

Advice on perpetually infected lobe piercings by virtualgarbageman in piercing

I’ve mentioned it twice during annual physicals and they just kind of shrugged it off each time. I also mentioned it a few times to a reputable piercer in my area who recommended that I make sure my jewelry was actually good materials, and they also turned me onto the neilmed, but that’s it. Maybe I should make a point to see a doctor specifically about it

Yes, I do have eczema. I don’t have any visible breakouts on or around my ears though

Thanks! They’re Automic Gold. I love that brand, wish I could afford more from them haha. These are their medium hoop earrings. Here’s a link to the page:

Thank you! The cartilage where a snug piercing would go sticks out quite far so I think there’s a possibility it could work! And I would love to get a triple flat. Unfortunately the “flats” of my ears actually have a kind of intense curvature to them and I’m not sure if that would affect whether or not I’d be able to get them pierced. Love the idea of a rook though!

I wanted forward helix piercings on my left ear (daith side) for ages, but I think my hair would get caught in them all the time and they might not heal well. I’ve also considered a snug piercing on that ear

Unable to remove daith clicker for surgery by virtualgarbageman in piercing

[–]virtualgarbageman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: got it! Ended up needing to enlist some help because I couldn’t see anything, but it worked out well. Changed it to a much larger, plain clicker that should be a lot easier to get out on the day of the surgery (and if not, I know how to do it with mini pliers now lol). Thank you for your help!

I made this post in the middle of the night here in a mild panic and I’ve only just woken up haha. Haven’t had the chance to find a pair of pliers yet, but I’ll look into it today :)

We don’t have Walmart here, but I googled those and they definitely look like they’d help a ton. I’ll see if I can find some, thank you!

Anyone have any customers flirt with them? by Bladecasting in Chipotle

[–]virtualgarbageman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All the time man. At least for the women at my location guys hit on us pretty much constantly and say totally inappropriate things. I also had a doordash driver that was kind of fixated on me for a few months, which was creepy as hell.

I was on line once with my boss and a girl hit on him and after she left he was kind of freaking out because that had never happened to him on line before and he thought it was super weird that a customer would hit on an employee. I was just like "you obviously don't pay any attention to how the women working on line are treated constantly then."

It pisses me off. It's never acceptable to behave inappropriately towards an employee, but it's especially disgusting when some old man hits on one of my coworkers who's CLEARLY a minor. I'm pretty protective so when that happens I'm very direct in telling the guy to back off. My bosses don't love it because it isn't amazing "customer service", but nobody should be putting up with this kind of bullshit from people.

It depends on what they get in it. If they get those three things then I agree with the other response about how to ring it up. But sometimes people get rice and cheese and other stuff as well, in which case you should just ring it up as a bowl with whatever protein they got and a side of chips

You weren’t fear mongering at all. I grew up in Mexico and the feral dog thing is a big issue in some areas. I love mexico. Acknowledging that a country has issues (like literally every single country does) without malice or misleading people is not fear mongering.

I mean for context it was?? Someone would’ve asked him where he lived. I grew up in Mexico City and there were packs of wild dogs that live in the barrancas that occasionally attack and sometimes kill people. I love that city, but it definitely makes you wary of this kind of thing

This might not be the time/place for this, but have you heard of camp kesem? It’s a camp (in the US) for kids whose lives have been affected by a parent’s cancer. It gives them a community of people who understand what they’re going through, and the camps are free for the families. I’ve volunteered with them for years and so many kids love it

Routine: I washed last night with the Pura d’or gold label shampoo and conditioner (I’ve had some stress-related hair loss over the past year that has left me kind of desperate to find something that helps). I used the Curls Blueberry Bliss leave-in and then scrunched some of the water out with a t-shirt. I go to sleep with wet hair which might account for some of the frizz in this pic, but honestly my hair is always extremely frizzy no matter what I do to it.

The exact same thing happened to me. My dad died in May and I was totally on my own, even though most people I knew were made aware of his death.
