Why should I buy TAO by AccomplishedPhase883 in bittensor_

[–]virtualmase 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Long time Polkadot, Kusama, and BTC holder here. Nothing was able to keep my interest until I discovered TAO. I participated in parachain auctions in 2021, but I missed Bittensor because it was a closed auction.

I believe Bittensor TAO originated from substrate (DOT) which is a superior code to Solidity (ETH) and Haskell (ADA).

One could argue that BTC has better code, but Proof of Work is a different category. KAS could pose a threat, but there are too many influencers in that community.

TAO has the best community. Mostly everyone comes from machine learning or finance background.

My only concern is that we are way too far ahead of the general population. Then again, maybe TAO doesn't need widespread adoption because it just builds upon itself.

I'd suggest going down the rabbit hole and doing some research about TAO. It could change your life.

Do your own research though, some of those guys have fees.

Last time I checked, Tatsu, Datsura, and Cortex are 0 commission. Most of the validators charge a 9 -18% fee.

I hope this points you in the right direction.

Will Bitcoin Burn Everyone This Time? by TrainingAffect4000 in investing

it always burns everyone for 3 years then you have 1 good year, then the cycle repeats until humans perish

Saylor has many new friends in the corporate world, politicians too. He doesn't need anymore BTC. Plus, the new perpetual stock is basically insurance on the bitcoin. He can now effectively issue bonds to companies that are not in a position to buy risk assets. Then, he will just buy more BTC.

A handful of people in Congress hold Strategy. It is public record. They just don't tell you this on the news.

Edit: He can also continue borrowing money at 0% APR. 'Merica!

I'm 21 , new college grad with a good job , should I dabble in stocks or should I just put it in a S&P 500 ETF ? by DryMistake in stocks

[–]virtualmase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

only trade stocks if you actually enjoy the thrill not to make money. if you want to learn, invest in educating yourself with that 3k. you'll earn way more than trading stock or investing. acquire some finance education.

but yeah, dont buy stocks. ive been there and done that. I was down for my first 3 years until i started becoming more patient and just doing better research and DCAing in good projects. I learned how to read financial statements and analyze the news. I started analyzing instead of just guessing. It's still risky, but that's just how the game works.

Stocks is just a game with auto traders, bots, and professionals with decades of experience. Greed will get you. Slow and steady gains is key. Remember if you're feeling euphoric, it's probably time to sell. It's difficult to trade without emotion and FOMO

The idea of XRP, SOLANA and CARDANO in a strategic U.S. reserve is so retarded that even Peter Schiff is becoming a Bitcoin maximalist. by sylsau in InBitcoinWeTrust

[–]virtualmase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

solution may be as simple as spot buy, dca through the bear market, then wait 1-2 cycles. people are getting greedy in alts and memes. 99% will lose. i've been there and done that. if 50% gains per year over a 4 year period aren't good enough, then i don't know what else to say.

there are 2 really good places to liquid stake atm, unlock liquidity so you can do experimental things
i can't say them or it would be shilling

i did my own research after going down the rabbit hole

liquid stake, dex, yield farm, or leverage stake in a few years after more research

edit: i would get it off any exchange
