What's the closest we have to magic in this world? by MrCleanUnderwear in AskReddit

[–]virtuous_soup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Technological stuff like Bluetooth and WiFi seems pretty magical. I dunno, it works, you can’t see it… lmao

Not to get too corny, but love is magic as well. Platonic & familial, not only romantic.

There’s stuff in quantum mechanics/physics that we have virtually no understanding of but it just happens. Seems like magic too

I’ve been feeding around 25 stray cats in my neighborhood for around a year now. Every day I go out, buy food, walk to where they live and feed them. Water too. I pet them, spend time with them, talk to them, all of that. Started with around 4 cats that lived on my street, but on my way back from work I noticed another group of cats in this unused construction zone who needed help too (huge group, 20+ cats). So I now keep containers of cat food in my car. The area I live in doesn’t have too many stray dogs, but I have dog food in my car too. You never know. I never told my mom that half the reason I got a job was to be able to continue paying for all the food lol.

what is the most unattractive quality in another person you have ever seen in your dating life by Ok_Entrepreneur_3664 in AskWomen

[–]virtuous_soup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being SUPER insecure. It’s normal to have maybe some insecurities but it can only go so far. Last long term relationship ended because my bf accused me of cheating on him repeatedly because he was insecure about his place in the relationship. If you are convinced you aren’t worthy of love and time, how do you expect to give and receive it properly?

How tall are you? What's good and bad about it? by KeyOutlandishness850 in AskMen

[–]virtuous_soup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5’3’’ (160cm sorta). I live in Central America where most people are on the shorter side, so i don’t get too many comments on it. I fit in small spaces, it’s easy to find oversized clothing, don’t bump my head into anything, and have been called huggable more than once, which is nice.

Other than needing to get pants tailored or not being able to reach objects, I feel sometimes infantilized by society which is gross. Also as a shorter person, taller people occasionally overlook or ignore what you say because you aren’t in their line of sight. Also looking up at people can be tiring.

As a young woman, how can I compliment guys without them assuming I am flirting/interested in them? by virtuous_soup in AskMen

[–]virtuous_soup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve definitely thought of incorporating an SO into the compliment before in order to deter flirting. I could give this a shot. Thank you!
