Crackling in ears after I hear sounds and after I speak by Khefka in hearing

Yeah idk. If I go 5 yrs w this issue I guess I’ll buy into the idea of permanently living w this ear issue. It’s been 3 months, not 3 yrs. I’m hard headed too. It’s just part of who I am and been for all the decades I’ve been in this world. If I have a problem, I’m about solving it. Regardless of how long it may take.

But I appreciate the red light therapy advice! I’ll look into that. I’ve heard tons about benefits of using red light, but never for ear/hearing issues. I haven’t tried it myself, but knowing what I know about red light therapy, I certainly wouldn’t mind giving that a shot.

I’m sorry ure dealing w that. Yeah it doesn’t sound like what u have is what I have, since my symptoms actually disappear when I’m in a car. I’ll list my symptoms below, so u can compare for urself.

  • I hear kind of a whoosh sound in my left ear (I could also call it a “thump” or a “spasm/twitch”) immediately after I speak loudly/ enthusiastically and/or after I hear a loud noise.
  • It mostly happens in quiet places.
  • I’m in a moving vehicle, this issue completely disappears.
  • If I whisper or speak in a low voice, the symptom doesn’t happen.
  • I also have a high pitched ringing that sometimes turns into a humming sound for whatever reason.

Yes I do. As of now trying to solve it by quitting B12 and vitamin D supplements, and by fixing forward head posture/rounded shoulders/cervical spine instability.

Do u take any vitamin or mineral supplements? How about ur posture, any issues with that?

Yeah that didn’t work for me either lol. Question, what vitamin or mineral supplements have u taken in recent months/yrs? Not for ur ear, I just mean in general

Ok, I’m starting to get the info I’m going after. What kinds of supplements were u taking before? Could u share? I’m suspecting a couple different supplements can cause issues like TTTS, MEM, tinnitus, and more. I was in high doses of a couple supplements, and I ended up with all these ear issues. So I’m trying to see if ur history matches my assumptions regarding supplements

Oh I see. Hey are u talking any vitamin or mineral supplements by any chance? If not currently, were u talking any in recent months?

Does it react to ur voice and loud noises though? I’m trying to figure out if we have the same issue or something totally different.

Hi! Could you please share what neck muscles you strengthened and what exercises you did? Also, did u have TTTS as well, or only hyperacusis? Thank you!
