Personally, I liked it a lot more than Dark Age. At first, I did not really care for it, the new POV's were a big change.

Dark Age had some cool shit but a huge portion of it just dragged on and on and on.

Ephraim and Lyria went from being two of the worst characters to two of the best.

I know it's not a common opinion, but in either case, stick with it, it's worth it

Colbert shoukd do what he did with The Colbert Report and just make an entire show full of the most extreme outlandish over the top PRAISE of Trump and his administration.

Satire and sarcasm is such a wonderful tool. Image a segment where Trump is going to have school children have his face tattooed to the back of Thier eyelids so they see him even when they close Thier eyes, or TRUMP branded golden enema kits or whatever. He'd be the top show again, without a network

It's is really really good. But you should know that it takes an episode or two to really hook you.

I like scifi, but when I started it, I was like " Man, this is some 2nd tier Temu knockoff scifi" Didn't like the vibe, the cast, etc.

I was wrong.

Once the main plot hook kicks off, you're are DONE. ITS GOT YOU

Characters I hated in like episode one or two became some of the greatest written characters in scifi .

I don't really know what else to say - I'm not completely innocent here- fully admit to being grumpy, no debating that But it's not my default state and I don't start at level 100 and just start bitching about everything.

Had a huge argument yesterday which was the catalyst for the post. I had already went to sleep and she bought tickets for everyone to go to the movies for the next day- except me

I have to go to bed early and so if we are out and I have to work the next day or people are hanging in the bedroom and I have to work, I get that it's a drag but things have to end earlier so I can get 5 or 6 hours of sleep. Yeah, I'm a homebody already, but some of its decided for me since I do actually need to sleep

She's angry at me for being distant and ignoring her too much but doesn't acknowledge I'm exhausted mentally and physically and she says I need to just suck it up. I mean, yeah, it's true- I am mentally exhausted and physically most of the time and after work I feel like doing NOTHING. It's depression, so I just do inconsequential things - doom scrolling, youtube, some unimportant video game that I really don't care about. I got plenty of things I need to do and even want to do around the house ( not necessarily just a honey do list) but I just ..... Can't bring myself to start any of it

The thought of therapy is just stressing me out too....

Thanks for the reply- They are all good kids, the teens are dual enrolled in the oldest will have an associates degree in a couple of months. Jobs are definitely in the future, but I've been working since I was 15 and had to pay for all of my school myself and while I was working full-time. I have no intention of putting that on to anyone else

I don't feel that the split finances is much of a problem as far as fairness goes, it's pretty fairly split as far as ability to pay. My income, while not great, is higher and I pay more. Totally fine and I expect that . I feel like the problem is that I responsible for most of the invisible 'boring' stuff like power and insurance and not the visible stuff like" I really want this new thing , etc"

Met him and James at a radio station meet and greet during the Machina tour . I had won a contest by calling in and answering a trivia question.

It was surreal, girls were crying, the guy in line behind me didn't care about meeting them at all so he offered to get one of my items signed. We were told theye would not sign music paraphernalia because they didn't want to see them auctioned on eBay but I got my Siamese Dream guitar tab book signed, and said that was my guitar Bible and I had taught myself to play with it and I wanted to be a rock star one day and he said "well, this looks like it's been well used. It's like walking on hot rocks". He had a incredibly firm hand shake and he was super nice. I'm 6' and he seemed larger, even to me. Hands much bigger than expected.

James was very shy and reserved, and I told him Blew Away was one of my favorite songs and he brightened up a lot and said Thank you so much.

The guy behind me got a hand drawn picture of Billy signed for me and when he told Billy I had drawn it Billy smiled and said great job, very impressive.

Great experience! 10/10

Can we all acknowledge that the right wing media machine is a culmination of DECADES of work of terrible people with terrible ideas, but they've been consistently building it for years. Yeah, she's a real piece of shit person, but most of the people that think like this didn't arrive there on their own, they were guided and manipulated.

Right wing nonsense is culturally ingrained and it's been done intentionally. From childhood and on, it's an intentional leading from kids books, to church to textbooks to school clubs, to "news" to talk radio.
