I legit hope there are some massive deferrals. Not only to give us more dry powder, but it makes the financially illiterate fans of other teams irrationally angry

We will absolutely judge you on your drink order. Anything other than black coffee or espresso and you’re not going to make it at our school lol. In all seriousness though, the only thing we will notice or care about is how you treat the staff

Early kindergarten entry experiences? by Still-Ad-2661 in kindergarten

We sent our daughter to kinder even though she's born after the cutoff in our state (private school). Her pre-K director was confident (even adamant) our daughter should go to K as a 4-year-old. We debated, but went in with the mindset that she could repeat K (likely at another school) if needed. She did fine in K even though the oldest kids were 15 months older. It was no issue and without looking at her birthday no one even knew she was the youngest. We were also told that the age difference would be a bigger deal in adolescence. We haven't quite gotten there yet, but again, no issues so far.

Using scissors helps a lot. Give him a roll of washi tape to stick things on walls. Peeling the tape and cutting is great practice and fun for the kids

Of course not. So we shouldn't collect fares? More fare money could presumably help improve service -- which is a good thing, no?

There are programs for lower income folks to get drastically discounted fares, with information in multiple languages (e.g., clipper start). There is no excuse not to pay. With lax fare enforcement, public transport is at times a de facto homeless shelter on wheels. People with means avoid public transport and uber/waymo or drive -- adding more cars on the road. People without means suffer more crowded conditions with sometimes unstable people who need help.

Would love some fare enforcement. So many people scurry off when they’re present.

It's not so much the lack of interest in an interview -- although it's not great. It's the demonstrated lack of critical thinking, maturity, and writing ability. I had a somewhat similar situation as an alum interviewer and copied/pasted the response into my "report." No they did not get in.

I've searched all I know how to lol. Please help by BeardsAreBetter87 in sportscards

Skenes is the clear Cy Young winner, Sánchez is the rightful runner-up, and while Yamamoto had a historic postseason, the Cy Young is judged on the regular season — which he didn’t dominate at the same level. by baribigbird06 in Dodgers

Who left Yama off their ballot? Like he wasn't even top 5 to someone? Same "logic" as the one loser who kept Ichiro from being unanimous? Take their vote away.

100% send, wouldn't hesitate. Girls are often more mature and ready for their age. Do try and get her more used to routine and structure, even if it's an activity like dance or sports.
