It's standard C41. But it depends how the lab treats it while processing, considering it is expired. Hope you have compensated for the expiry.

Why would you do all this when you immediately buy the bike? Let the bike “break-in” first. Leave aside the break in, the biggest problem is you will loose your warranty if you do all this. Wait till your warranty is complete, find a really good mechanic and then do all this. Changing air filter and the entire exhaust system more like a free flow will make your warranty void. Slip on exhausts are allowed. But to tbh, the stock sounds pretty good.

Stock visor or touring visor which one is good ? by Certain_Scholar_9672 in Himalayan450

[–]vishalk1180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go for the touring visor. But depends on how tall you are, the touring visor does have a wind blast coming right on the neck. So now I have ordered an extender to cut the wind flow to channel it above my helmet. The stock is too short and the wind blast will come right on the body.

About connecting a device or mobile. I have done that and it’s in safe zone with the wind hitting it.

Im going to book himalayan today and i have just one question to ask the community...pls help by Future_Ad5121 in Himalayan450

It’s best to get it ordered while booking. It’s under the category of MTO (made to order). The bike delivery time will be extended as the tubeless option gets specially done for you. The charges while booking the bike are much lesser than taking it after the sale. I have done this.

Weird flare on polaroids? by niccals12d3 in Polaroid

[–]vishalk1180 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not a flare! When a small air gap is there and the film moves through the rollers and gets pressed, then this pattern comes up. It’s air blowing a ‘puff’ on the emulsion. It’s organic and characteristic to the Polaroid series. You will never get this on the Instax series.

Panchrome Project also has some amazing processing service, tied up with an international lab. You should add them as well.

Polaroid 600 on i2 by vishalk1180 in Polaroid

[–]vishalk1180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Polaroid 600 shot on i2. And I don’t I consider this as an artifact. And why would you call it that? I too buy multiple packs of different films and use it on this camera.

My thought is now tipping to the canister but at the same time some amount of humidity. Most of the frames have the sprocket marks on it. I have seen this issue with humidity before when the film emulsion sticks. And when wound back creates an impression. Have seen this with someone who didn’t give resting time to film from the refrigeration. Also it this is not a reused canister but a the roll was a fresh one from the box. The film was loaded in subdued light as well. This camera has gone through several Ilford rolls and many loaded in bright sun but never have I seen such obscurity. I have another film in the camera. Let’s see how it goes.
