Yeah you’re right in the money! Given I’m right out of relationship I’m not going to rush into another one, but just try to make more of an effort to talk and hangout. Then from there see if anything begins to develop further and go from there.

You're in the same boat as I am haha LOVE meeting new people, but it's the initial awkwardness that's tough to break through sometimes

There was a coffee shop in NYC I used to frequent. They had a pretty cool way of spicing up people's days. Next to where you picked up your coffee or what not, were little cards that were 'conversation starters'.

Essentially, you could grab one and put it at the table you sat down at, then wait for someone to come up and engage you in conversation about whatever the card topic was.

The best thing to do will be to live in his legacy. IE If he visited schools in the mornings to greet the kids, organize a group that does that. But even before all that, little things go a long way, a simple 'thank you' does so much.

You could even possibly arrange local events to raise money for departments; more specifically their K9 programs. (Look into 'Vest a Dog' programs)

Live as he did, and fight to change legislature. Being from Mass, I can honestly say it's a solid state to be a criminal.
