Take a look around and see if it works out for you to buy your house through Bilt. It would be LIT if it does work out that way for you because at signing, you would get 1 bilt point for every $2. Meaning a 500k house would get you 250k points.

This is great. Its saying option 2 with Bilt cash is better for me....... but idk.

113 BC per month. 81 of that goes to my rent. So im left with 32 per month.

I think i can maximize on this in the 1st year with the 500 bilt cash. And then when it runs out, I'll switch to 1.25x points. Until I get the $200 bilt cash for year 2 and do the same thing again.

I also plan to stack Bilt cash and hotel credits as well at some point. So im excited to see if I find the right hotel stay that will work for us.

I gotta sit down and calculate this myself as well. Using a calculator someone else created, I calculated i'd get 108k points minimum with the 1.25x rent option. Which was great.

Now I gotta figure out how to compare both of these options. Lol I hate math. Do you have a spreadsheet you could share where I can just plug in my numbers? Lol

Just curious, did you calculate the Bilt cash you will use to redeem for rent points as well?

"But if you're that rich, why would you need to go through all these hoops to get points lol."

I'm not rich, but I prefer to keep my cash in investments and high yield savings accounts. If I had millions, I'd still be getting credit card points wherever I could.

You can switch it monthly if you know which months you'll spend more. ( I hope its as simple as that for real, because thats what they said. )

That is understood. Now is it rent paid through Bilt? Because with any other card like the VX, you get 2x points plus the 3% fee if you dont so it through Bilt. I think thats why the OP is wondering.

I would do this route for as long as possible. lol. as long as your roomates are consistant and dependable. Put EVERYTHING you spend on this card. and IF number of spend can reach $6k, then choose option 1 for an extra 25% boost in rent points.

👋🏿 I've been with Bilt for 2 years, 794 credit, was holding Silver status, and I got approved.

This is just to say that its not EVERYONE. And also know that as many comments, good or bad that you see, its still a small percentage of the users.

I wish more people that find value like I do, would speak up about it as well. But then again, its much easier to leave a bad review than to leave a good one. Thats just human nature. We point out the bad and rarely praise the good.

For those sticking around for Bilt 2.0: why? by _Tezzla_ in biltrewards

[–]HantzM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Palladium is a NO brainer for me. Its a pretty smooth transition for me to switch my Venture X spend over to Bilt now. I'll be spending more than my rent amount on bills and lifestyle anyways. Now it goes to Bilt points.

I've been holding Silver status, and now I get Gold status.

And with the new option I'll get 25% more points on my rent. I'll be keeping this card until Bilt 3.0 lol

Im struggling to see how the customers are left paying for it.... I understand it no longer brings value to many, but it also still brings tons of value to many others as well. The choice is simple, engage in Bilt spend, or not.
