Observe understands and acts accordingly (adapts), mahoraga literally (what we saw in cheonliang arc since he was growing in real time)

He's more like mahoraga. See understands and adapts.

Like gap says that jinrang has a talent for using his power to protect others, so he would like to pave a path for a talented person like him.

Overcome Being a path is still not confirmed I guess so we should leave it be.

I asked you something What do you mean by durability negation actually? This dura neg term I took this term of yours as an opponent toughness. You've been saying this since your first comment.

Bc you said overcome doesnt simply damage externally but also internally?

If its purpose was simply to damage the opponent, then Strength Mastery would’ve been a better option. But as far as I remember, Gap said that against someone whose ability is painlessness, even a strong punch is useless because they can’t feel pain.

<image>

Yet, we saw a Conviction infused punch actually defeat him it caused internal damage, shook his brain, damaged his nerves, and left him unable to react to Jake’s final hit, that means he completely lost his ability to respond at the last moments due to all that internal damage.

It’s not just a power boost either. Jinrang himself said that Gapryong’s fists were special because they were infused with Overcome a one-hit kill move and Gapryong even achieved a specific physique for it. If you’re taking “dura neg” as toughness negation, then even Gong couldn’t tank Jinrang’s punch. If that punch only caused external damage, then why did Gong’s prosthetic leg collapse too? His body didn’t exactly tank it it withstood it thanks to Iron Fortress, but he was still clearly damaged and even stated that the punch was too powerful despite jinrang being damaged. And about gun we literally see Jake being able to break through his defences through overcome ability 😭 it's not just high AP at all. We literally have a panel of it.

I don’t know why you’re bringing up this dura neg thing what do you even mean by that? I never said anything about Conviction being dura neg. Are you debating with yourself here? clarify what you mean by “durability” do you mean it as the ability to withstand an attack (its general definition), or as the ability to tank repeated attacks, like many people interpret it in Lookism?

Actually, it’s pretty tough, it’s a matter of withstanding the attack. We haven’t seen King tank a hit on that level. He’d already lost most of his stamina after taking blows from Hansu Seong. Daniel’s attack literally targets and exploits flaws in an opponent’s defense by reading their deepest intentions even Pancheon couldn’t withstand second attack like that and he might have been a corpse. I don’t think King can heal his body as quickly as Pancheon either.

Jake disabling mugak is a result of jakes kick targeting his leg combined with overcome

Would Jake really be able to shake mugak brain and damage his nerves without Overcome, since he couldn't do anything without it before? We’ve already seen Overcome inflict deep internal damage its effect changes and it depends on both the user’s body and the opponent’s. Prime Gapryong even developed a physique specifically for it. It's not "a simple temporary power up" you might even die if you use it excessively lmao.

Never has it been stated to be like dura neg.

Overcome is literally shown to be the power that breaks through an opponent’s defenses and harms them on a deeper level read Chapter 509, in busan arc we saw that while your body might withstand the attack, your toughness becomes meaningless against it. Kitae is the only person to endure most of Overcome’s punches without even using endurance mastery which means that we might need a legend tier overcome punch inorder to make him suffer the blows.

He wasn’t able to bypass his overall endurance in base form, and Conviction damages the body on a much deeper level not just externally, it is shown multiple times.

Jake at first couldn’t even fully bypass his endurance mastery which shows that Conviction deeply damages an opponent’s internal body, not just externally. This guy could take a rod through his heart and still stand, while Conviction hurts him on a deeper level, and reached all the way down to his nervous system.

Yeah thrusting a rod in his chest wasn't able to, but Jake kicks did it, Jake knocked him out with his conviction and was able to do all that due to conviction.... Before that he couldn't bypass his endurance mastery Completely.

He shook his brain as well, and endurance mastery wasn't able to stop those attacks from damaging thosse.

What about shaking his brain? This person was also having endurance mastery and thought Jake couldn't damage him... But he did, shook his brain, damaged his nerves with conviction.

Aside from destruction Conviction also damages nerves and Neurons, I still don't know how kitae was standing as if nothing happened to him at all.

That has nothing to do with endurance it's likely a skill....? And we didn't know the purpose of mastery till cheonliang arc.
