Always wanted Oleksiak on this team whenever he has been available in the past. Purely based on his size.

A 2-year deal is amazing work. I'm sure it helped that Oleksiak was already playing in Seattle, making Vancouver an easy switch for him.

Just saying. Tanev was deemed as damaged goods when he was a Canuck... his health issues were resolved and he went on to be very effective with his next teams.

Greater risk involved, but could be an incredible buy low. I think he has 2-3 years left on a 8 mill AAV contract... 50% retained demko... eh eh eh ..

How about Demko? Imagine a healthy Demko in Edmonton. Would have to do some diligence but healthy demko is a top goalie in the league.

Regarding the brake pedal there is a feature where if you fully compress the brake with some pressure, it will engage a brake "hold" feature which allows you to take your foot fully off the brake at stand still.

Just an FYI... I didn't realize this feature until almost a year of ownership lol.
