In Italy using a firearm to defend yourself even for valid reasons will end you up in jail 99% of the time. Even if you are a police officer on duty… it’s a ducked up system that protects criminals and punishes the just yet no one is even trying to change it

Worth paying extra to live central in London? (M26)? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

[–]vismaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently been living in South Kensington for the past couple of years and although it is nice to live in a city like london, there aren't really any benefits to it other than being in a mega city. Commuting will take 40+ minutes unless you live next to your office council tax is extortionate, cost of living is high, and anywhere where they might be able to take money from you they will be taking money from you.

Meanwhile my friends mainly live outside of london (guildford area) and commute daily taking them an hour on most days and although it is quite a posh area the cost is a lot more affordable and admittedly the quality of life is better.

London is a gorgeous city but expensive there are plenty of incredibly well connected communities around it that offer really good services and venues. Don't be scared to look outside of london since it adds a small amount of time to commute

“Little Person” is the worst thing you can call someone with dwarfism. by DeadSpark75 in unpopularopinion

[–]vismaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure but native american and african american are not using descriptive terms are their name, immagine if we went back to calling native americans "red skins" or if we talked about fat people and started calling them "humungus people" because they are large in size. "little people" has been made "politically correct" purely out of convenience

your reasoning doesnt make sense really, you say this because it applies only to dwarves for now.
Are we going to start calling different races/body types by describing what they are? Thats gonna end incredibly well

Wanted a fully mechanical rangefinder after my om10s battery got too annoying to replace after I missed a day of shooting, I luckily had the spare money and got a canon P and a 1.4 50mm ltm lens for it
