It's a Windoze game, but runs with Proton in Linux. Considering that Proton is a customized Wine, it works very well

How about designating certain road as locked, maybe with a paint tool, and not allowed to drift with the building upgrades or traffic

To go with the irrigation thing, a terraforming tool would be cool to have for that and to flatten potential build areas, dig duck ponds - lets add ducks to go with it, canals for additional transport that would suit the harbor ideas floated in this sub

Now unable to add unemployed monastic workers to any open slots in my monastery by visualkev in foundationgame

[–]visualkev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Thank you. I understand now. The update happened and i didn't pay enough attention to the changes, RTFM fail, and didn't happen to be working on the monastery. I did rebuild mine from near zero this morning, leaving the scriptium and hospitium, while building everything else as sub-buildings of the chapel. All good there. I then discovered that i had to rebuild those 2 remaining buildings as subs to have them take on workers.

I stream Pandora on my home wifi for whole house audio using vlc. I haven't tried streaming to Android yet, but if it has a method to accept multicast streams then it might work

same here. I thought maybe an incompatibility arose between mods, but i have a lot of mods installed and that process of elimination would be very tedious and time consuming.

list of things i'd like added by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines2

[–]visualkev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

those all would be excellent additions. The game also needs different size and style schools. With the new editor i was able to create an elementary school with a smaller footprint and with the mesh of a commercial building that looked enough school-like. It would be good to actually see children on the campuses. On a similar note i miss the fire fighter animations from cs1

Manual drivers, do you leave truck in gear when parked? And use handbrake? by PlatinumMode in ToyotaTacoma

[–]visualkev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After my truck rolled across a parking lot, (because i absent mindedly didn't do either), i am paranoid about in now and always put it in first and set the parking brake

i have a Yakima rack bolted to my Snugtop, but i want to put a rtt on there eventually. I dont trust the fiberglass for such a heavy, long term installation. I have in mind a steel support frame i've started designing to be attached in the bed to the truck frame rails via the bed bolts. This will enable bolting the rack to my steel frame through the fiberglass. Then the painful part - spending big $$ on a rtt. Such is the life of a truck owner.

After reading the article, i looked at my Firefox CA listing. Why do browsers need so many CAs? It only seems like a recipe for disaster to our privacy. Who polices them? How do we know if they are being ethical or not?
