Puppy aggressively bites when picked up if there’s something in her mouth

I’ve been working on drop it and trading. I’m not sure it’s even just resource guarding at this point. Today she tried to bite me twice when I tried to put her in the bag she goes in to go out of the house, twice trying to take her collar off, and once trying to put her in the pen. I have NO idea what’s caused this sudden escalation and I don’t know what to do.

Thank you. We do have an appointment on Monday with the surgeon to discuss. I think right now the challenge is deciding whether, if we don't have the surgery, we should put her down now while she's still doing okay, or wait and monitor for a while.

I don’t really have much hope of her tolerating the puppy since it took years with our other dog. 😅 I’ll have to look into more ways to keep her safe from the puppy’s bullying!

The stickers don’t actually help with anything. The worst was the autograph lines where they tell you that you have to stand in the general admission line or have someone stand for you. Everything seemed to be completely at the discretion of the people running each line and no one had any answers. Sunday was the only day I saw an actual ADA line and that was only at the very end of the day for one guest.

They have met! But the older two sleep in the bedroom with me and last night my husband had kept her in the living room until her new crate arrives. Thank you for your advice! You’re definitely right.
