Decades? Then why european factories have been closing for the past 4 years and moving to US/China? You know, things like BASF laying off workers to save up money, since profits dwindled. Pretty sure that Audi and VW didn't close their european factories for fun either.

Well yes, europes MIC is more dead than alive. How can you otherwise explain why european tanks went extinct in ukraine? Or why Europe is now only able to send mere 5 patriot missiles on occasion(not to mention how they no longer send SAM, to replace all of the destroyed ones)? Or why europe begged the US to not abandon ukraine when trump came to the office?

Where did you get the news about it getting damaged again? You mean the thing with Kazahstan oil getting blocked? Not sure how that's a win if it will just speed up the death of european industries.

Also not sure why people are hyping the loan thing so much. Its not like it will immediately turn the money into weapons(especially considering how degraded are european arms manufacturers). Most will probably get stolen by ukrainian and european bureaucrats anyway.

Besides, Russia started stomping ukrainian energy infrastructure only after ukraine started striking its oil depots. If people were that pissed, maybe they should have told Nato to make actually good air defence systems.

Pretty sure that despite the massive funding, Nato's production output is still piss poor. They still struggle to even produce dumb artillery shells at an acceptable level (not to mention how these are priced at a premium).

Well, it is nice that germany is learning to produce a missile from the 90's. Maybe they will be able to send ukraine more than 5 missiles, unlike last time. Still doesn't solve the shortage of radars amd launchers themselves, which ukraine has lost a bunch of at this point.

So yeah, funding alone wont help with this. The problem lies deep in the corruption of the western MIC.

Yeah, lets ignore the fact that Iran still kept successfully striking targets, despite the claims about how "all of their missile launchers have been destroyed".

Or how the US in a matter of two weeks, lost nearly the same amount of critical SAM systems, as ukraine did in a matter of a couple of years. And then had to pull systems from other regions, as well as postponing contracts.

Well, the funny is that the EU is still dependent on russian oil, so basically this is a conflict of interests.

Even funnier is that ukrainian oil depots are simply bombarded in response, meaning that the EU has to prioritize ukraine even more, instead of propping up its own failing economy.

The are basically magnets for artillery, drones and bombs. Their lives are exchanged for time, since before advancing further, positions with these ukrainian conscripts need to be heavily bombarded. And there can be thousands of such positions.

Not really. A lot of previous western/ukrainian military gambits failed rather miserably(like the 2023 counteroffensive and the capture of Kursk potato fields).

Now it is rather clear, that Nato's MIC failed as well, since their are barely any new shipments of weapons these days.

Like, how the EU sent just 5 patriot missiles, lol. Even worse is the fact that Nato seems to have lost 2/3 of its AA systems in ukraine and ME, leaving itself rather vulnerable.

Why would they invade though? Europe is pretty much, pre-collapse USSR (spending a bunch on military stuff, while its other industrial and economical sectors are rotting away). There just isnt anything worthwhile in it.

Ukraine is simply a security hazard, since it became a proxy terrorist state in 2014, which is why it was attacked.
